Dear readers,
Welcome to edition 196. I hope you are all keeping nice and warm during our cold snap. It has been a little chilly over the last week, either that or I have become a huge sook and just cannot stand any form of cold weather!

We have received a huge number of letters to Ed about the Voice vote. As a community magazine, we would like to point out that we have no opinions on this either way. It is up to you to do your research and decide what you think is the right thing to do. As for all the letters to Ed, they are not, or ever will be our views, these are pages that allow you to have your say. However, we will not tolerate any racist or abusive letters, and these will not be printed. Some have been borderline, so I implore you, before you send your letters to us, re-read them, and delete any inflammatory comments as they will not be printed. Kindness doesn’t cost a thing and there needs to be more of it shown in our society.
I would also like to ask you, our readers, to send in letters to the editor, about the wonderful things that have happened to you on the Island. We have one letter that came
