Kwad Smith Junior | Sports Management “I actually do because we have a lot of foreign exchange students and we have a lot of students who are from out of town who, you know, only get to see their family two or three months out of the year in total.... Myself, I’m from Orlando, Florida so it’s just tough you know not seeing my family.”
Stephanie Anderson Sophomore | Dance “It’s hard to get back into school at the beginning of the year because of the long summer break, it’s hard to really get back into it and feel motivated again. So I would say no, just for that reason. You know, trying to keep the motivation up.”
Julian Curet Junior | English / Anthropology “Personally for me, longer breaks means I get out of my rhythm and routine for going to classes and stuff and studying and doing coursework. So I would rather not, especially knowing that coming right back, you kind of have to hit the ground running because … depending on the year, we pretty much have a week or two left before finals start. So I’d rather keep my routine, keep my head in the game, and especially after being stuffed with food if you’re that lucky, stay in school without extra break time.”
Kyle Mossor Senior | Hospitality Management “I think it’s fine... I don’t need a really long break.”
