Conceived as a periodic examination of the current activity in Texas, the juried exhibition includes 24 artists who were either at the beginning of their careers or who had developed national reputations but were unknown in the state. The artists included are Rachel Hecker, Paul Kittelson, Rick Lowe, Randy Twaddle, Casey Williams and others. Includes Jurors' statements by Marilyn A. Zeitlin, Marge Goldwater and David Ross; as well as documentation on the artists’ careers.
