Renegade Cycles Grand Opening

Renegade Cycles located at 1003 S. Main Street in Dobson, NC, has been riding motorcycles since he was 19 years old. His passion for motorcycles led him to start building custom bikes from the ground up with help from his son, Chance, and his friend Shannon Davidson of the Chopp Shop. Unfortunately, Chance passed away during the inaugural build. Shannon finished the bike for Nick and the “Chance Bike” went on to be featured in Easyrider Magazine and picked up several awards The success pushed Nick to go on to build 2 more bikes that featured Shannon Davidson paint and were also featured in Easyrider Magazine. In 2018, Nick went on to build a couple fat tire bikes on his own, using his trucking company, Beck Trucking, as his HQ.

In a move to create Renegade Cycles, Nick bought out Mark Snider of Busted Knuckle Inc., brought in his inventory,

extensive parts collection and Mark’s knowledge to start the new venture. Mark is overseeing the shop and is still turning wrenches to keep bikes on the road.

July 11th, Renegade Cycles hosted their grand opening party. Nick’s daughter, Mattie, who works as the office manager put together a full day of entertainment with the help of the Renegade crew. The River Ridge Band were set up on a flatbed trailer in parking lot, and kept the air filled with tunes from 12-4pm. Hot dogs, chips and water were available along with a Tap Truck to keep you hydrated. The tap truck was running three taps: one Bud Light, One Budweiser and one Coors and they also had a cooler full of Truly Hard Seltzers. The 200+ person crowd drained the tap truck and only left behind a few hard seltzers. Everyone who showed up was given a free raffle ticket for some excellent raffle prizes that included a $265 KST Kustoms gift card, 2 free oil change certificates, a

Daytona helmet, a Drag Specialties motorcycle cleaning kit, 3 gift cards from Finish Line Graphics and Signs and a Renegade Cycles hat, shirt and $100 gift card! Not bad for FREE raffle tickets!
