Tom McGrath’s Motorcycle Law Group 2020 Giveaway Winners
By: Shannon Rights - Walnut cove, NC
Tom McGrath’s Motorcycle Law Group has always honored the philosophy of giving back to our biker community. This year is no exception; we drew our winners for the 2020 giveaways in early November as usual. However, we decided to change the program some this year! For 2020, we had a total of 3 winners! The 2020 Grand Prize was decided on late 2019 with the help of Richard Carver, Ride America Tours, we purchased a 10-day guided tour to the New England Adirondack Mountains during fall foliage season 2021. This trip of a lifetime includes transportation of the winner’s motorcycle to Albany, NY, free round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations and $900 spending cash for the winner and their pillion passenger. Dean Howard of Locust Grove, VA was the lucky winner of the grand prize! He has been riding for 28 years and is looking forward to the adventure! Since 2020 has been an extraordinary year, we thought to make some changes to the giveaway by offering a 2nd and 3rd place prize. Our second-place winner registered with us during one of the bike show nights we sponsored with Smokin’ Harley- Davidson. When Tracy Hill of Walnut Cove, NC was informed of her win, we decided to meet her at Smokin’ Harley Davidson to give her the check. Tracy is a local girl and has been riding for about six years. She has two bikes, a Harley Road Glide, and a Suzuki 650 sport bike. We would like to thank Ray Perry General Manager of Smokin’ Harley- Davidson and his crew for all their wonderful support of the local motorcycle community. Just about every weekend you can find some event going on at the dealership whether it is a big, organized event or just a meet up of local riders. We look forward to continuing as the Official Law Group of Smokin’ Harley- Davidson. Our third-place prize winner of $500 cash was Diane Stupalski of Moncks Corner, SC. Diane has been a regular of the Women’s Freedom Ride out of Charleston, SC. This year she completed about 6,600 miles of the ride. Women’s Freedom Ride came about in 2013 to promote fellowship and show support for all women riders. Each year the trip raises funds to honor veterans. 100% of all donations raised go directly to a non-profit charity veterans organization. This year, Tom McGrath’s Motorcycle Law group was one of the sponsors for the ride and Diane met us during the meet and greet the night before the ride left. 2020 will go down in the History books as a year to be remembered. Tom McGrath’s Motorcycle Law Group hopes that everyone stays safe and we look forward to getting back to normal next year! We have begun registering for the 2021 giveaways, if you would like you can register with us online at www.motorcyclelawgroup.com or you can catch us out at events when we are able to get there. We would like to congratulate our winners and wish them nothing but clear skies and curvy roads!
