Frequently Asked Questions Q. How long is the venue rental? The venue rental is from 10 am-midnight. Ladies typically arrive at 10 am with gentlemen usually arriving just a few hours before ceremony time.

Q. What is the maximum capacity for the ceremony and reception spaces? The reception space can comfortably host 300 with a nice sized dance floor. The ceremony spaces can hold around 225 with additional seating being an option for larger guest counts.

Q. Can I bring in my own vendors? Yes, we have an open vendor policy at The Carriage House. We will provide you with a list of highly recommended vendors who work here often. Ultimately the choice of who to hire is up to you. The only vendor you are required to do through The Carriage House is the bar. We are a fully licensed TABC establishment. Our bar set up will include your bartenders, security, and everything needed to get the bar up and running.

Q. Do you have a recommended vendors list? We have a great list of recommended vendors for you to begin your search with. All our recommended vendors have worked many events at The Carriage House. Our couples love them and so do we!

Q. Do you offer vendor packages? Yes, we offer optional vendor packages through The Carriage House Services. These packages cover five of your main vendors: Month of Coordination, Catering, Linens & Dishware, DJ, and Cake.

Q. Do we have to have a day of coordinator? We do require our couples to hire a professional Day of Coordinator. Coordinators bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience to the wedding day. The list of tasks on wedding day is endless and coordinators are worth including in your budget. You are not required to use one of our recommended coordinators but we are happy to provide your chosen coordinator with a list of expectations.

Q. When do couples typically have their rehearsal? Most couples choose to host a mini rehearsal on the wedding day. However, if you would prefer you may schedule a one-hour window on a non-wedding day to do a run through at the venue during regular business hours.

Q. Do you have a payment plan? The venue rental is broken down into four equal parts. The first payment is 25% of whichever day of the week you have selected for your wedding celebration. This first payment is required to hold your date. The final payment for the venue is due 60 days before your event. The bar is due 30 days before your wedding to take your RSVP count into consideration.

Q. Can we bring in our own alcohol? No, since we are a fully licensed TABC establishment no outside alcohol can be brought onto the premises. This is a very strict TABC rule.

Q. Do we have to clean up at the end of the night? After a great party the last thing anyone wants to do is clean up! The Carriage House staff will take care of all the heavy cleanup. You will just need to pack up all your personal items, any florals, or leftover catering you would like to take.

Q. What types of tables and chairs does The Carriage House provide? The Carriage House provides 60” rounds for your guests tables. We have three gorgeous farmhouse tables you may use for your head table or for décor on the wedding day. We have cocktail tables in both our indoor and outdoor spaces to make mingling a breeze.

It is always a great idea to prearrange transportation, but your guest’s safety is very important to us. If a car needs to stay overnight, we just ask that your guests try to return to pick them up before our next rental begins at 10 am.

Q. Are there any great places to stay near The Carriage House? Yes, there are an abundance of resorts, hotels, and Airbnb’s within a short drive of the venue.
