Combining cabaret style with rock attitude, Storm Large (her real name) has performed with major symphony orchestras across the country and since 2011 has been a frequent guest vocalist with Pink Martini. The singer, actress and Oprah Book of the Week memoirist first gained national attention in 2006 as a contestant on the CBS competition show Rock Star: Supernova, and earlier this year stunned the judges and received a standing ovation with her audition for NBC’s America’s Got Talent. She performed alongside Michael Feinstein at the Center’s 2016 gala and continues to delight audiences with her powerful voice, moving stories and racy humor.
