Faegre Drinker Peanut Butter & Jam: The Rainbows March 12 | 10:30AM ET The Palladium

Come join family jam supergroup the Rainbows for interactive musical fun. Mr. Daniel and ShooBeeLoo Music's Ms. Michelle are joined by Daniel's son Roland, Ms. Sheila of Itty Bitty Book Mobile and Mr Phil. They will have you dancing, singing and playing along to original songs and children's favorites. (There may even be a visit from a dancing unicorn!)

Group Vocal Coaching Class March 16–Apr 6 | 6:15PM ET The Palladium

The Center is thrilled to partner again with Todd Neal for a vocal instruction/ coaching course. During the course, students learn song selection, vocal technique and interpretation. Students completing the course will have a better understanding of performance, delivery, projection and stage presence. The class is for anyone who enjoys performing and would like to improve their vocal delivery. No previous vocal training is required. The class is limited to 20 participants and is recommended for teens and adults.

Luminaries: Music and Movement March 22 | 2PM ET The Palladium

The idea of “movement” can refer to bodily movement, social movements or even the travels of migrants, laborers and refugees. What is it that causes sound to inspire kinetic activity, articulate solidarity and resistance, or find solace in relocation? This presentation will examine music making and listening practices from different parts of the world, exploring music’s special power to evoke a real or imagined sense of place through song, memory and technology, and its role as a vital soundtrack to the complex lives and identities of people in motion.
