The luxury fashion house was established by the Slovenian fashion and costume designer Matea Benedetti, who’s beautifully designed pieces have graced fairs and shows in Paris, Milan, London, Los Angeles and beyond. With Benedetti Life, Matea is now creating a sustainable and animal-free luxury fashion brand that aims to transform the fashion industry and help save the planet.

Due to the high level of transparency in the social and environmental impact of its products, Benedetti Life has been PETA approved and awarded a Butterfly Mark by Positive Luxury, a renowned company that monitors transparency in the ethics and sustainability of global luxury brands. Benedetti Life received a Butterfly Mark for its waste and toxin reduction efforts, fair and equal pay, cruelty-free materials and conscious design.

Each Benedetti Life collection is inspired by an animal species on the verge of extinction. The current collection is dedicated to Amazon parrots and their beauty, endangered by illegal trade and the shrinking of their habitat. While these amazing birds make for vibrant pieces, they also raise awareness about the conservation efforts that are urgently needed to ensure their, and our, survival.
