Contemporary Eveningwear With A Romantic Twist From Kuwaiti Designer Bazza Alzouman

Spring/Summer 2021 is a continuous narration of Bazza Alzouman’s classic evening wear silhouettes. Void of embellishment and striking colours, the collection was conceptualized on the Kuwaiti eponymous label’s strongest shapes and muted colours, amplified with ethereal layers and textures. A repertoire of 22 looks feature floor-grazing and tea-length gowns and separates inject a playful, modest layer. Monochromatic gowns are anything but one-dimensional. Balloon sleeves are attached to boned bodices while figure-hugging mermaid skirts are juxtaposed with sharp padded shoulders, effortlessly marrying each minimalist creation with surrealist accents.
