Etro Presents FW22/23 Womenswear Collection

Creative Director Veronica Etro brings the ETRO ethos into contact with the elements: the concrete jungle and the wild landscape. The collection draws on the notion of breaking patterns and embracing the outdoors. The result is a collection that is an unfiltered expression - paisleys are blown up to the point of total abstraction, tapestry textures are translated into brilliant monochromes and patterns are augmented. Keeping with the the raw spirit of the collection, elongated vertical silhouetes are styled with flat suede boots and coats and jackets are enveloping and voluminous, as if taken from a boyfriend’s wardrobe. The color palette is dense and earthy: tones of chocolate, ivory, khaki and orange are juxtaposed with shimmering notes of silver, peacock blue and burgundy for the evening. In creating a collection where every element from the pattern to texture and color is contrasted, the brand’s signature nomadic spirit is affirmed and the libertarian essence of the ETRO ethos is showcased to the fullest extent.
