HUGO UNVEILS EXCLUSIVE NEW SNEAKER AT SOLE DXB
HUGO has debuted its most coveted new sneaker, the HU-GO1ST, at Sole DXB – the region’s premier culture and lifestyle festival that took place at Dubai Design District from 9-11 December. The festival returned after a two-year hiatus, with a stellar line-up of renowned artists such as Jorja Smith, Central Cee, Raspody, Marwan Pablo and Freek – and more.
HUGO made their Sole DXB statement with the exclusive launch of the limited-edition HU-GO1ST sneakers. The experience was further elevated by the invitation of renowned international Syrian artist, Dina Saadi who customized limited pairs in HUGO brand colors with an added touch of green: a nod to the UAE flag. Dina’s art depicts the diversity of urban spaces, the characteristics of modern life, the allure of wildlife, and the beauty of nature. The HU-GO1ST sneakers showcase subtle design, and with the unique blend of Dina’s style and HUGO’s modern identity, festival goers enjoyed creating customized pairs for themselves with Dina’s artistic assistance.
The limited-edition HU-GO1ST sneaker is a nod to the generation that embraces a daring attitude when it comes to creating fun, festival-inspired looks.
Embracing the ultra-hip vibe of Sole DXB, HUGO’s booth was attended by several celebrated regional talents such as Parvané Barett, Lana Al Beik, and Korrii, among others. Dubai-based open-format DJs GT and DJ DNK were also seen playing on the terrace, creating a musical ambiance that immersed the crowd with vibrant energy.

Over 160 VIP guests, media, social influencers and friends of the Maison joined Montblanc’s global CEO Nicolas Baretzki and Franck Juhel, President of Montblanc MEIA, for an evening immersed in 1960’s rock ‘n’ roll culture and the musical genius of Jimi Hendrix.
Held in the equally popular Riyadh branch of London’s stylish Signor Sossi restaurant, the evening was electric with music, art, food and fashion, bringing to life elements of the culture and avantgarde essence of Jimi Hendrix.
A dedicated room to showcase the Montblanc Great Characters Jimi Hendrix Limited Edition gave guests the opportunity to explore the craftsmanship and ingenuity of the luxury Maison’s craftsmen in creating a writing instrument collection paying tribute to the music legend. Montblanc’s Great Characters Limited Edition collections are presented annually, and celebrate the life and achievements of eminent figures who have shaped the cultural history of humankind. LOEWE is pleased to announce actress Taylor Russell as a new Global Ambassador for the house. As well as opening the SS23 women’s runway show, Russell will appear in LOEWE’s upcoming SS23 precollection campaign.
