FIRST SATURDAYS
First Saturdays in Clarendon! Whistle-Stop Trade Days has returned!
The fun and excitement of "First Saturday Clarendon, Texas," has become the calling card for shopping, entertainment, and good food.
First Saturdays are headlined by the Whistle-Stop Trade Days, which returned from its COVID hiatus on June 5, 2021, with live music, cold beer, food trucks, and more than 100 vendors with everything from homemade jellies, soaps, and lotions to handmade wood furniture to clothing to antiques and cool junk.
Owners Kimberly and Jordan Green provide a truly unique and fun experience. And when you’re ready to take a break from shopping, a cold beverage and live music are waiting for you in the tree-covered beer garden.
First Saturdays aren't just limited to activities at the Whistle-Stop though. There's a whole heck of a lot more to do and see in Clarendon!
Follow "First Saturday Clarendon, Texas" on Facebook and watch ClarendonTX.com/ firstsaturday for new events and activities every month.
November's First Saturday, for example, features the 50th anniversary of the movie "On Any Sunday" at the Mulkey Theatre accompanied by a block party, food, and a motorcycle show. December's First Saturday will include the Saints' Roost Museum's annual Christmas Party, and other activities are added all the time.
The Whistle-Stop Trade Days is open first Saturdays from 10 a.m. to dark and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Shoppers can also pick up great buys at the WhistleStop - but without the Trade Days fanfare - every week from 10 to 5 on Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 on Sunday.
Whoot Whoot! All aboard First Saturdays!
