FIRST SATURDAYS
First Saturdays in Clarendon! Whistle-Stop Trade Days returns June 5
Get ready for fun and excitement as "First Saturdays in Clarendon, Texas," becomes the calling card for shopping, entertainment, and good food.
First Saturdays are headlined by the Whistle-Stop Trade Days, which returns from its COVID hiatus on June 5, 2021, with live music, cold beer, food trucks, and more than 100 vendors with everything from homemade jellies, soaps, and lotions to handmade wood furniture to clothing to antiques and cool junk.
Owners Kimberly and Jordan Green provide a truly unique and fun experience. And when you’re ready to take a break from shopping, a cold beverage and live music are waiting for you in the tree-covered beer garden.
First Saturdays aren't just limited to activities at the Whistle-Stop though. There's a whole heck of a lot more to do and see in Clarendon! June's First Saturday features the annual Trash To Treasures Garage Sale Event, and July's First Saturday features the annual Saints' Roost Celebration with the BBQ, ranch rodeo, turtle race and more! And check out ClarendonTX.com for other First Saturday events!
In addition to weekly entertainment at the Sandell Drive-In and Mulkey Theatre, the Saints' Roost Museum is open, Stocking Ice Cream Parlor is serving cold delights, and our local merchants are open with amazing selections and great deals!
The Whistle-Stop Trade Days will be open first Saturdays from 10 a.m. to dark and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Shoppers can also pick up great buys at the Whistle-Stop - but without the Trade Days fanfare - throughout the month from 10 to 5 on Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 on Sunday.
Whoot Whoot! All aboard First Saturdays!
