ALLIED HEALTH CLUB’S BREAST CANCER AWARENESS EVENT & FUNDRAISER 10/19

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an opportunity to show support for those who are bravely facing their diagnosis and treatment, and to share the message that early detection can make all the difference in beating this disease. Our CW students proudly support this campaign.

This semester, the Allied Health Club sponsored the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event and Fundraiser on October 19. Students and faculty were able to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win several prizes, and there were also many baked goods and breast cancer awareness merchandise to buy. In support of the event was Gilda’s Club Westchester, a local nonprofit that provides free support, education, healthy lifestyle tips, and social programs for anyone impacted by cancer. Our CW students proudly supported this great campaign and through the fundraiser, they were able to donate $550 to Gilda’s Club of Westchester. The Allied Health Clubs thanks everyone who helped put this together, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!
