I-670 changes
Crews are scheduled to begin paving eastbound Interstate 670 at 7 p.m. Wednesday as part of the $58 million SmartLane project, which will be completed by fall 2019. The project will allow eastbound drivers to use the left shoulder during rush hour, and include new ramps and bridges from I-670 east to Interstate 270 north to reduce congestion. 161 270
