Arriving from the venue was also Rocksteddy, another famous OPM band. So, from headbanging with aforementioned rising artists, the crowd went back to vibing with OPM classics through Rocksteddy’s songs such as Leslie and Superhero.

Conversations can also be heard as people were talking about why they came for the concert—to support the cause, to cheer an artist, to have a date with a loved one, to find someone, to forget people and feelings, or even to just enjoy music and live. Surprisingly, the concert crowd wasn’t entirely made up of youngsters, adults like parents and old professors also came, not to mention several middle-aged

Absolute Play, a three-piece band with a female vocalist, surprised the stage with their punk songs from their album Happier Pretending. Then, Ashfall, a band from the South shocked the venue even more with their heavy metal music amplifying all over the university.
Arriving from the venue was also Rocksteddy, another famous OPM band. So, from headbanging with aforementioned rising artists, the crowd went back to vibing with OPM classics through Rocksteddy’s songs such as Leslie and Superhero.

HOUSE PACMAN CLINCHES 34TH CCIS VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

W
ith the start of the CCIS College Week, came with a plethora of events that pit the students physically and mentally, the Basketball tournament challenged 10 teams on the court to achieve victory and bring glory to their respective houses.
After three days of grueling struggle for supremacy, the basketball team of the House Legend of Zelda was crowned as champion, followed by House Contra with House Bomberman coming in 3rd place, giving honors to their respective houses by giving them points to add to their tally. The tournament was in a round robin format and was held within the Bataan area and Paraiso Court in Sta. Mesa, Manila.

The highly anticipated final match took place where House of Pacman came out rulers ending the volleyball tournament for House of Legend of Zelda with scores of 25-20 and 25-18. Winners were awarded during the coronation night last February 20 at PUP Freedom Park having House of Pacman as the champion, followed by House of Legend of Zelda and the House of Contra for the 2nd spot.
