In 1969, Apollo 11 made history as Neil Armstrong became the first human to walk on the moon. Retired Brig. Gen. Charlie Duke served as CAPCOM for that mission, making his voice almost as famous as Armstrong’s in that firstever transmission from the lunar surface.
