Plus a few that might have gone under the radar including the hilarious Marcel the Shell with Shoes On and the beautiful documentary All That Breathes.

Awards! What better way to follow Borderlines Film Festival than to screen some of this year’s biggest awards contenders. We’ve got returning dramas The Banshees of Inisherin, Empire of Light and Aftersun alongside the surprise mega-hit of the year Everything Everywhere All at Once. For the ﬁrst time at The Courtyard Cinema we’re also screening war epic All Quiet on the Western Front.

Adapted from Erich Maria Remarque’s 1928 novel, this German war epic is dominating the technical categories this year with 9 Oscar and 14 BAFTA nominations.
