So this time, the team created a new seat design and a broader back which provides ample space and easily accommodates itself to your favourite sitting positions – the result is a unique recliner designed to be as comfortable sideways as it is upright.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Stressless® recliner without unique functions and multiple options for personalisation.

The Rome offers three back heights – low, adjustable and high – which changes both the look and feel of the recliner.

All back options can be combined with either of the four base styles.

When comfort and style at the work desk become a priority, the recliner can also be fitted with a home office wheelbase, ready to carry you through the day.

Adding to this is a multitude of cover qualities and colours that allow you to create the recliner that best suits your needs and your home.

In 2023, rich and harmonious colours that relieve, reassure and revitalise us will be essential in products and interiors.

With this in mind, Stressless® has introduced a selection of new leather colours for the Rome collection.

Paloma Breezy Blue is an elegant, balanced pastel which exudes an air of lightness and harmony, perfect for those wanting interior colours that line up with their search for inner peace.

A versatile colour like Paloma Teal Blue is a great alternative for long-term investments.

Its rich, dark blues are balanced by the slightest green hue, inspired by the world’s oceans and fjords.

Rich and natural browns that provide grounding and reassurance, Paloma Mushroom and Dark Mushroom are versatile options that work well alongside both metal and timber, while Batick Platinum Grey is complex enough to stand out on its own but also versatile enough to sit alongside almost any other hue, lending warmth and balance.

Finally, inspired by the deep forests, ancient trees and mossy ground, Batick Thyme Green is a colour that encourages contemplation and connection with nature.

To complement the leather seats, the bases are available in a wide selection of wood colours, along with Polished Metal, Satin Silver and Matte Black.
