Day 1

TRAVEL TO LYON AND EMBARK

Fly or take the train to Lyon, and transfer to the A-ROSA STELLA for your 7-night cruise. Welcome dinner tonight.

Day 2 VIVIERS

ARRIVE 10.00, DEPART 22.00

Spend the day in Viviers, full of quaint French charm, with honey-hued stone buildings set in a beautiful riverside setting. Opt for an excursion to the Ardeche Gorges and lavender fields to discover more of this evocative corner of France.

Day 3 ARLES

ARRIVE 08.00

Packed with inspiring history and colourful charm, explore the Amphitheatre dating back to the 1st century and the muses of Arles' most famous resident, Vincent van Gogh.

Day 4 PORT ST LOUIS

ARRIVE 09.00, DEPART 19.00

The gateway to the natural wonders of the Camargue. Take an optional tour and observe wild horses, pink flamingoes and a wide variety of birdlife.

AVIGNON

Enjoy an included walking tour in the city with our knowledgeable guides. Perhaps also visit the Palais des Papes, the largest gothic palace ever built, or the striking Pont D’Avignon. Highlight culinary experience on board tonight.

TOURNON/TAIN L’HERMITAGE

Le Jardin d’Eden is the crowning jewel in this picturesque city. On the opposite side of the river Tain-l'Hermitage promises famous vineyards on steep terraces.

LYON

ARRIVE 07.00

Enjoy your final day in Lyon, with its UNESCO-listed Old Town, museums and gastronomic flair. Tonight, enjoy an included farewell dinner.

Day 8

DISEMBARK LYON

Disembark after breakfast and be transferred to the airport or station for your return journey to the UK. Alternatively, add a few extra days in the city - ask for more details.
