HOLIDAY GIVING CATALOG 2017–2018
WELCOME TO THE HOLIDAY GIVING CATALOG, WHERE YOU CAN… Change a life. Turn dreams into lifelong success. Leave a legacy. The Culinary Institute of America strives to provide students with the knowledge and skills that lead to their success in the food world. Whether that means becoming a world-class chef or baker, forging new paths in research and development, shaping food policy, or providing expert hospitality, a CIA education is their key to a bright future. All of the items in the Holiday Giving Catalog support CIA students. Take a look. There are lots of ways that you can be part of our students’ success. HONOR SOMEONE SPECIAL Make a gift in honor of a family member, friend, student, or faculty member and we’ll be sure to let them know of your generosity.
The Culinary Institute of America is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization.
CHANGE A LIFE Gifts that make dreams come true and change the course of someone’s life are the most precious of all. Easing a student’s financial burden through the donation to a scholarship transforms the present and paves the way for a thriving future.

INSPIRE INNOVATION Inspire innovation in our students through the CIA’s Intrapreneurship concentration, a 15-week intensive program that enables students to develop a menu concept and implement all the associated business planning necessary to start their venture. Groups of students pitch their concepts in front of a panel of industry professionals. The winning pitch is then implemented and managed by the entire class at a pop-up restaurant in the CIA’s Innovation Kitchen at The Egg. Contact the Advancement Office if you would like to attend an upcoming “Innovation Pitch-off.”
