DISCOVER NIAGARA SHUTTLE KICKS OFF SUMMER SEASON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

The Discover Niagara Shuttle hits the road Memorial Day weekend.

The Discover Niagara Shuttle mobile app can be downloaded at discoverniagarashuttle.com/apps and will show where all shuttles are at any time.

The shuttle operates within the boundaries of the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area, which was designated by an act of Congress in 2008, and is a partnership with the National Park Service and the U.S. Department of the Interior. Its mission is to enhance public appreciation for the communities, significant historic and natural resources, and landscapes of the Niagara region.

Shuttle partners include the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area, the New York Power Authority, Destination Niagara USA, City of Niagara Falls, Niagara University, Niagara Falls USA Development Corp., State Parks, Niagara County, Town of Lewiston and Village of Lewiston.

Another must see is the Cave of the Winds. Go to Goat Island. Park in the main lot. Admission is $12 for adults, $9 for children. Parking is $10.

Maid of the Mist:

Th e Maid of the Mist has been giving tours of the Niagara River below the falls since 1846. Reservations are available online at maidofthemist.com.

Tickets for 2022 are $25.25 for adults, $14.75 for children. Th e boats these days are all electric. An elevator takes you to the dock. Trips are 20 minutes long and depart every 15 minutes.
