Clichés Leaders are made, not born. Cliche it may sound, but that is reality. In a student government where young leaders are elected to rule, they don’t just magically acquire both the power and responsibility of their positions. Rather, they step up and commit themselves – regardless, despite, even if.

his is where political parties’ role comes in - to nurture leaders that soon will step up and commit for the sake of the students. In last year’s Hot Seat, the incumbent USG Vice-President labelled YLAW and Bugkos as “notso-political parties,” in the sense that they are only in full operation during election periods, yet, nowhere to be found when the students need them the most. Bugkos and YLAW both have 15 years of history with a long list of officials elected under their bannerS. However, both parties also have an unclear record of tangible legacies and principles imparted to UNCeans which could’ve made them perpetually relevant. Yearly, Bugkos and YLAW come up with catchy slogans aimed to grab voters’ attention and interest. From “Prinsipyo, Puso and Matuwid na Pagkatao” to “Sulong UNC: Tayo na sa Pagbabago” of Bugkos, and from “YLAW Generation” to “YLAW Viaje” of Young Leaders at Work (YLAW) both parties know how to position their brand promises to the voting populace, but seem to lack the drive in actualizing these sustainably all throughout academic years. A political party’s slogan reflects the ideals and principles that ultimately prioritizes student welfare. But what if the party‘s standard bearer lost the election? Should that stop them from actualizing their battle cries? We believe the answer should be a no. The ideals and principles carried by a party’s slogan must go beyond the election period. Notice how silent and stagnant both parties are after the annual polls. At best, they release official statements and customize their media display pictures in solidarity with a pressing issue. We need to question – is this enough? Should the student body and the oppressed take solace in the likes of Bugkos and YLAW’s posts, or wipe their tears with a printed copy of their statements? It’s such a waste to grant them much political machinery that could’ve been used to mobilize UNCeans into tangible action, only to see it die down along with the

election hype. Such influence can also be used to be watchdogs of each other’s governance. Within the fifteen years where the USG seats are passed between the two parties, it’s no secret that every term has lapses that vary in impact against students’ welfare. Instead of calling the incumbent leader out and fighting for UNCean’s interests right when these mistakes happen, parties disappointingly seem to just archive these in their depository of each other’s failures, to be used as propaganda later in the polls. Moreover, Bugkos and YLAW should start innovating their branding in terms of leadership mindsets because the real and most noble challenge is not to simply get elected, but to break the growing culture of apathy of UNCeans as

well as the rampant immaturity of a fraction of the voting populace who have no clear standards on what comprises a vote-worthy studentleader. They have the responsibility to provide pool of quality candidates who offer more than generic promises and vote baits. We’ve had enough of campaign strategies that focus on belittling one’s opponent. We’ve had enough of perfuming candidates with the labels progressive and effective without actual proof that they really are. We’ve had enough of generic, outdated, and vague platforms that seems simply recycled yearly. Our failure to break this system, in the worst case, will constantly give birth to dysfunctional student governments. And now the election period is on, may Bugkos and YLAW loyalty

and service be offered to no one but the students’ welfare. May the voting populace, realize that the power of the people is greater than the people in power. We have the chance to redefine USG Elections, thus, we should never be blinded by rhyming and catchy slogans or even hollow promises and labels. Under Bugkos’ #LabanUNC, ask them what exactly they are fighting for and how specifically they intend to win such fight. As for #YLAWViaje, question where precisely they wish to take us and demand a concrete roadmap and plan of action for our journey towards such destination. This is the time that we must demand for the service we deserve. This is the time that we declare that we’ve had enough for their cliches.

8% Tuition Fee increase unanimously approved by UNC stakeholders BY TRISHA ANNE S. PASABA and TILAK MADANLO

The Tuition and Other Fees Increase (TOFI) consultation meeting concluded with the approved UNC Admin’s proposal of 8% tuition fee and 5% selected miscellaneous fee increase, with no objections from the attendees last January 20, 2018. Said increase will be observed for A/Y 2018-2019 subject to the approval of CHED. Specific miscellaneous fees covered by the proposed 5% increase are as follows: Internet, Athletic, Registration, Guidance, Medical-Dental, Instructional Media and Band Fees. The proposal stressed the importance of improving facilities and expanding requirements to support the new curriculum and to support increase of logistical requirements for student services in line with enrolment, scholarship testing, and other activities in relation to our open admission policy. However, College of Nursing and Criminology will be exempted on tuition and miscellaneous fee increase. VPAF Salumbre stated that this will be part of how the admin expresses its support to the small departments of the university. As for the School of Graduate Studies and College of Law, a separate consultation was held. The consultation meeting allowed its attendees to clarify, ask questions and raise the problems that the student body is currently experiencing. Magello Fenis, USG Vice president S/Y 2017-2018, questions the fairness of the voting composition, claiming that students are not well represented in the yearly consultation. VPAA Nora Maniquiz responds that aside from the current present USG members, other student orgs were also invited, sadly was not present during the consultation, and asks why so. Association of Non-teaching Personel Pres Lourdes Francisco requests the admin to add in allocation for the community service of non-teaching staff, which VPAA Maniquiz assures that community services is among the current priorities of the UNC. Other concerns, like Wi-Fi accessibility and internet

speed, likewise the efficiency of its implementation was also brought up during the meeting. When asked what the greatest accomplishment of the AC Education for UNC is, she replied “I guess, I have to ask you that, [kasi] kayo ang end users. All our doings?

Durante lands 4th in 2017 JRMSP BY GABRIELLE D. FULLANTE

Being the 8th recorded awardee from UNC in the history of the award giving body, Durante landed 4th in last year’s search for Jose Rizal Model Student of the Philippines (JRMSP) 2017 awarded during the hero’s 121st death anniversary on December 30 at the Rizal Monument in Manila. Durante, the current University Student Government President, was among more than a hundred students from all over the country who went through a rigid selection process which featured submitting documents validating their experience in community service, extra-curricular activities, and academic standing. From this pool of youth leaders, the top 20 students were chosen to advance to the interview wherein only 10 made the cut.

In the search, he credited most of his extra-curricular experiences back to his beginnings as studentjournalist and how, during his term as the editor-in-chief, the publication had changed. “From an ordinary publication who merely glorified the school and the achievement of the students, we transformed it to something na nagpopoint out sa kung ano ang mali at kulang sa university. Pinopoint out din namin kung ano pa yung pwedeng iimprove, kung ano yung mali sa univ which is, at the end of the day, is para din sa estudyante,” Durante said. “10% nung tanong was about me as a student teacher, 90% as a student journalist,” he added. He was also asked how he would relate Rizal’s principles to him being a student-teacher to which he answered, “When people are educated, alam nila kung pano magdecide para sa sarili nila and para sa iba… Liberation through education. Kapag edukado ka—kapag

may alam ka—kaya mong lumaya.” Furthermore, Durante treats this achievement both as an honor and a responsibility being a student-leader. “It’s an honor for me, the university, and my family. But at the same time, it’s a responsibility. Ang mapangalanan bilang Jose Rizal Model Student hindi siya simple kasi after nung award, merong responsibility na nakakabit sayo, ang pag tingin sayo is that dapat mong gawin yung tama like what Rizal did,” Durante said. “Sa part ko naman bilang student-leader, it’s an appreciation of what I am doing. Kung baga it validated my job… It validated my purpose, my worth as a studentleader and as a student-achiever,” he added. Now on his last year in the university, Durante committed to continue what he started and will constantly share the values that he learned from the national hero to his fellow and future students.

Alinsunod sa kanilang panatang paghahatid ng mga makabuluhang programa at adbokasiya, inilunsad ng University Student Government (USG) ang mga kampanya at aktibidad ngayong ikalawang semester na tumalakay sa mga isyu ng HIV/AIDS at nagbukas ng alternatibong mga oportunidad upang palawakin ang kaalaman ng mga UNCeano. Red Ribbon Run Inilunsad ng USG ang Red Ribbon Run alinsunod sa kanilang layunin na matulungan ang mga biktima ng sakit na HIV/AIDS sa pamamagitan ng pagkalap ng pondo at pagputol sa diskriminasyon laban sa kanila sa anyo ng isang fun run. Bukod pa rito, nabigyan ng kaukulang impormasyon ang publiko hingil sa lagay ng mga may sakit na HIV/AIDS sa pamamagitan ng malawakang room-to-room educational campaigns sa kampus; at sa pakikipagtulungan ng USG sa Naga City Health Office, nagkaroon din ng libreng HIV/AIDS testing at pamimigay ng libreng condoms at lubricants. Nang tanungin kung ano ang kahalagahan ng pagbasag sa diskriminasyon at mga maling pag-aakala sa may sakit na ito, inihayag ni Joshua James Diño, Vice Chairperson ng Red Ribbon Run, na “sa kasalukuyan, mayroon nang karampatang treatment para sa HIV/AIDS at ang tanging kalaban na lamang natin ay ang stigma.” Ang programang ito ay naganap noong Nobyembre 30, 2017 sa mga pangunahing lansangan ng centro-Naga at UNC. ACLASS 2018 Pagpasok ng taong 2018, ipinambungad ng USG ang kanilang programa na ayon kay USG VicePresident Magello Rainer Fenis ay makakapagbigay hindi lamang ng bagong kaalaman, kundi pati na rin ng isang kaunting pahinga sa maraming aralin - ang Alternative Classroom Sessions (ACLASS). “Nag-enjoy ang mga magaaral dito dahil nagsilbi itong time out sa kanila sa pressure na dala ng exams tsaka projects” aniya. Ang nasabing proyekto ay ang kauna-unahan sa kasaysayan ng UNC. Isinuspende ang lahat ng regular na klase noong ika-25 ng

Escoto, Rebancos selected as 20th AYLC delegates BY PRECIOUS KACY D. FARAON

After having passed through three stages of careful screening, Audrey Jescel Escoto, 4th year BS Civil Engineering, and Maryvil Rebancos, 4th year BS Accountancy, had been selected as among the official 80 delegates of the 20th Ayala Young Leaders Congress held from February 20 to 23, 2018 in Batangas. The congress was designed as an avenue for the selected outstanding students to further develop their leadership skills and confidence; to nurture commitment to integrity, foster nationalism and idealism; and to encourage faithful stewardship towards their communities and the country’s future. Armed with their own accomplishments that had

been garnered through years of experiences (e.g. community services, student leadership participations both inside and outside the campus, awards), Escoto and Rebancos aced three stages of rigid screening process ending with the panel interviews from which the final list of delegates had been picked. Both Escoto and Rebancos expressed their astonishment at being chosen among hundreds of aspiring student leaders of different colleges and universities across the country. During the interviews, Escoto was asked if UNC had an edge on AYLC since it is a flagship university of AC Education, to which she proudly answered no, “because since then, UNC has already produced numerous delegates for the congress and being a part of it is something that is memorable and inspiring.” “I considered it to be a challenge: for us to continue inspiring other UNCeans to be a leader of tomorrow,” Escoto added.

Meanwhile, Rebancos expressed that the Congress looked for genuine leadership. When asked what made her stood out, she responded, “I don’t need to pretend; I don’t need to lay all of my achievements just to say I am an effective leader. It is enough that you have made an impact on the lives of some people, and your leadership caused changes [in] their lives. And most importantly, you’ve influenced others to unleash the leaders within them.” Escoto and Rebancos also imparted their advice for UNCeans aspiring to join the AYLC for the coming years. “Don’t stop dreaming for the best. Always keep that heart and passion to serve others,” Escoto said. Rebancos further added, “Don’t be a leader just because you want to be known or for the sake of the congress, because for me, congresses are not trophies. You should want to be a part of it to be a better leader. Be the genuine student leader you are.”

Higit sa ano pa man, gusto kong maalala ng mga UNCeano bilang pangulo ng University Student Government na totoo sa kanyang salita. Mula noong eleksyon, nangako tayo ng pagbabago, at makikita naman natin hanggang sa kasalukuyan kung ano yung pagbabago at kung ano pa yung idinagdag natin sa ating administrasyon.

Una, gusto kong maalala bilang bise-presidente na hindi lamang pamalit gulong sa pangulo. Pangalawa, gusto ko ring maalala bilang isang lider-estudyante in general na isa ako sa mga nagsulong sa malayang pagpapalitan ng ideya, sa pagpapalabas ng mga isyu na dapat pag-usapan [upang] talagang napag-uusapan dito sa loob ng ating kampus.

HANGGANG SAAN ANG ISINULONG NG USG SA ILALIM NG IYONG PAMUMUNO?

ANO ANG MASASABI MO SA MGA NANINIWALANG NANALO KA LAMANG BILANG BISE-PRESIDENTE NG USG DAHIL SAIYONG APELYIDO AT HINDI SA IYONG KAPASIDAD BILANG LIDER-ESTUDYANTE?

Sa simula mahirap isulong kung ano yung gusto nating pagbabago kasi unang-una, para tayong nagsimula from scratches. Pero sa dedikasyon at pagpupursigi na mangyari ang mga pagbabagong nais natin, nakaya natin. At kung hanggang saan tayo umabot, nandito tayo ngayong araw. Nandito tayo, proud tayong isabi sa estudyante kung ano yung mga napagtagumpayan natin. Umabot tayo sa punto na may mga bagay tayong kailangang isakripisyo pag dating sa mga personal na bagay, pagdating sa pag-aaral. May mga naisakripisyo tayo. May mga [panahon] na kailangan nating kumontra o kwestyunin ang ilan sa ating mga admin para lang maisulong ‘yung gusto nating pagbabago.

HANGGANG SAAN ANG ISINULONG NG USG SA ILALIM NG IYONG PAMUMUNO? Sa tingin ko totoong nagkaisa o nagkasama-sama ang ating mga estudyante. Isang patunay diyan ay ang mga programa nating sa tingin ko’y naging matagumpay. Dahil kung wala sila - kung wala ang kanilang partisipasiyon, ang kanilang kooperasyon - hindi magiging matagumpay ang ating mga nailatag na programa. Ngunit hindi siya madali. Kasi, given the nature na magkakaiba-iba tayo ng pananaw, magkakaiba-iba tayo ng paniniwala, hindi madali siyang pagkaisahin. Kailangan mong subukin, kailangan mong ipaintindi kung bakit kailangan natin itong gawin. Kung bakit kailangan natin itong isakatuparan. Hindi siya madali pero sinubukan natin sa abot ng makakaya natin na pag-isahin sila.

Una, aminado ako na unique talaga ang pangalan natin. Pero last year, sa kampanya palang, inihain ko sa mga mag-aaral ang plano ko kung mailuklok man ako bilang bise-presidente. Sa tingin ko doon kumagat ang mga estudyante dahil sa pamamagitan ng pagboto sa akin, maituturing ito bilang protest vote sa isang USG na ang namamayani ay tradisyonal na sistema. Naisabi ko naman sa mga mag-aaral sa aking plataporma na kung ako man ay mabibigyan ng pagkakataon, mamayani ang aking progreibong approach kung sakali man akong mailuklok sa pwesto.

HANGGANG SAAN ANG ISINULONG NG USG SA ILALIM NG IYONG PAMUMUNO? Kung ang pagbabasehan naman ay iyong mga aktibidad natin dito sa loob ng ating kampus at kung isasama din natin iyong mga kampanya natin sa labas ng ating paaralan, masasabi ko na tumaas nga ang kalidad ng mga diwa nila bilang lider-estudyante dahil una, mas maraming namulat kung ano talaga ang kasalukuyang sistema at kung ano nga ba ang mga dapat isakatuparan bilang lider-estudyante. Pangalawan naman, masasabi natin na yung pakikipagdiskurso, isa itong paraan para mas mapataas ang lebel ng pagpapalitan ng ideya na kung saan kinakailangan talaga ito na maging isang avenue ng mga lider-estudyante na ma-uplift pa yung kailangan natin dapat pag-usapan. Kaya sana, wag natin tingnan ito bilang paninira lamang o kinalabasan lamang ng galit sa isang isyu.

ANO ANG MENSAHE MO PARA SA MGA MANANALONG KANDIDATO SA USG ELECTIONS 2018? Ang mensahe ko para sa mga susunod na lider-estudyante ng ating University Student Government, lalo na sa mga susunod na Pangulo at Ikalawang Pangulo ng USG ay nariyan kayo upang pagsilbihan ang mga estudyante, walang iba. Sila ang pinaka-priority niyo at gawin niyo silang pundasyon kung ba’t naninilbihan kayo. Darating ang araw na mahihirapan kayo. Darating ang araw na magiging malabo ang daan kung saan akyo patungo. Pero bumalik kayo sa kung ano man yung naging layunin niyo kung bakit kayo tumakbo, at babalik at babalik kayo sa rason na tumakbo kayo para sa estudyante. Para sa susunod na adminsitrasyon ng UNC, alam naming hindi naging perpekto ang aming adminsitrayson. Kung ano yung makita niyong dapat baguhin, baguhin niyo. Kung ano yung dapat punan, punan niyo. Para sa huli, maipagpatuloy kung ano yung magaganda at matapos na yung mga hindi dapat gawin para sa estudyante

Ang mabibigay ko lang na mensahe para sa susunod na pangulo, bisepresidente, at mga susunod pang lider estudyante - patuloy [niyo] lang gawin ang kung ano sa tingin niyo ay tama, at patuloy na paglingkuran ang sambayanan pati na rin ang malawak na hanay ng mga kabataan. Sana ay maipagpatuloy iyong mga humble naming nasimulan pati na rin yung mga dapat nating isulong talaga... lalong lalo na sa panahon ngayon na talagang mapanghamon. Sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni Duterte ay kailangan nating ilabas talaga ang lahat ng ating pwersa para [magtagumpay], lalo na’t nakikita natin na opresibo at ang daan na ito ay patungo na sa diktaduryang kanyang ninanais... kaya patuloy lang sana tayong maging boses ng inaapi.

Marami kaming gustong ipaglaban katulad ng SIA or Students in Action. Sa ilalim ng platapormang ito ay ang magkakaroon ng Project Proposal Making Contest, Freshmen Days at selebrayon ng College Days. Gusto naming hindi lamang puro student council at college board ang kumukuha ng key roles sa ating school. Nais din naming bigyan ng pagkakataon ang lahat ng mga estudyante na mag-step up at ipakita ang kanilang mga kakayahan in leadership. Ang ating College Days ay iba sa mga college days dahil academically inclined siya. It is an inter-department learning program, a crossover between the colleges. So everyone will be learning from each other.

Sa ilalim ng YLAW: LAYAG UNC! LAYAG!, Lumikha ng ingay ang estudyante tungkol sa kanilang karapatan at opinyon, asikasuhin at bigyan ng pansin ang mga lider estudyante sa UNC may posisyon man o wala. Yaman ng estudyante ang kanilang talento at kakayanan sa iba’t ibang larangan. Kaya’t sa pagbibigay ng “Gawad Unceano”, mas makilala pa natin ang mga extra-ordinaryong UNCeano na nagbigay karangalan sa ating unibersidad at kani-kanilang pamilya.

SA LAHAT NG NAGING PANGULO NG USG, SINO MAY PINAKA-EPEKTIBO AT MAKABULUHANG TERMINO? Ang pinaka-epektibong president para sa akin ay si kuya Juvin Durante. Because he kept all the promises he made to the students, of course, with the help of Magello and all the officers working with him. The student council this year has done an effective job in creating a wholesome and fun academic year for the students. They also brought certain aspects of campus life setbacks to the administrations attention, and bringing forth a commitment to change these issues.

Ang term ni kuya Joshua Espiritu ay alam naman natin hindi perpekto at may mga lapses sa panahon nya. Pero sa aking palagay, siya ay may makabuluhang termino dahil sa sinimulan niyang pagpapalakas ng boses ng estudyante. Ang pagkakaroon ng adbokasiya ay naisulong nya at ito naman ay pinagpapatuloy ng kasulukuyang USG. Kaya sa tingin ko, sya ang may pinakamakabuluhang termino.

MULA ISA HANGGANG SAMPU (SAMPU BILANG PINAKAMATAAS), GAANO KA-”PRO STUDENTS” ANG KASALUKUYANG UNC ADMINISTRATION SA ILALIM NG AYALA EDUCATION? I will give them a rate of 7. It is because I want to give them a chance to prove themselves. They kept saying that they will bring improvement to the school for the best of the students and I truly want to see that. Though recently they proved otherwise because of the sudden tuition fee increase, still, we couldn’t make a judgement especially when they are just starting.

ANO ANG PINAKAIMPORTANTENG SULIRANIN NGAYON NG MGA KABATAANG PILIPINO, AT ANO ANG MAIAAMBAG MO UPANG MASOLUSYUNAN ITO? Ang suliranin ng mga estudyante ngayon is their lack of involvement sa mga school activities and social issues. Hindi sila nabibigyan ng pagkakataon na ipakita ang kanilang kakayahan at kaalaman. That’ why my platforms are centered to student involvement. The Project Proposal Making Contest will give them a chance to propose and make the activities that they are interested in, while the celebration of Freshmen Days is a way for them to get acquainted to different school organizations. It will be a good way to expose them to different aspects of a college life. Hindi sila ma-e-enclosed lang sa studies and friends.

Youth involvement and education. Bilang isang lider estudyante, ang nais ko ay maiangat ang kaalaman ng bawat kabataan sa paraang kaya ko at kaya nating gawin. Sa loob ng UNC, we want to make every students life more than just college diploma. Giving them the service and knowledge they need to excel in education and in the world outside the academe. Lilikha tayo ng mga aktibidades na napapanahon, naaayon at kailangan ng bawat estudyante. Pagyayamanin pa ang kanilang talento at kakayahan sa iba’t-ibang larangan.

Tumakbo ako sa Partidong Bugkos dahil una, tinuturuan ng Bugkos ang mga lider-estudyante nito na maging maka-estudyante nang sa ganun ay maka-isip at makagawa ng mga platforms na para sa estudyante din. Pangalawa, patuloy na tinutulungan ng Bugkos ang mga lider-estudyante nito kahit tapos na ang eleksyon manalo ka man o matalo. At pangatlo, ang Bugkos ay hindi lamang isang political party kundi isa itong pamilyang lagi kang tutulungan at aalalayan.

From the very beginning of my journey as a student-leader, YLAW has been there to guide me as well as who believed that I can. I may not be the perfect leader that everyone wanted, cause no one is perfect nor I might not have lots of achievement to boast around, but these people boost my confidence. They’ve been there to witness and guide me to be a better version of myself, to help and encourage other people that they can be one of us, young leaders at work.

SA LAHAT NG NAGING IKALAWANG PANGULO NG USG, SINO MAY PINAKA-EPEKTIBO AT MAKABULUHANG TERMINO? Sa apat na taon ko sa UNC, sa lahat na naging ikalawang pangulo ng USG, ang may pinaka-epektibo at makabuluhang termino ay si Magello Rainer Fenis. Simula sa kaniyang pagkampanya hanggang sa siya’y nanalo, siya lang yung naging consistent at isinulong ang kaniyang mga programang gusto niyang ipatupad. Sakaniya din nagsimula ang mga social awareness campaigns sa UNC at ipinakita din ni Magello na dapat ang isang liderestudyante ay kayang tumindig at ipaglaban ang mga estudyante.

Para sakin ay si Mj Moral. Bakit? kasi kahit hindi man naging maganda ang kanilang termino o madami mang pagkukulang, hindi niya iniwan ang USG. At hindi ito naging hindrance para magserve sa ating unibersidad as well as to create new set of young leaders.

MULA ISA HANGGANG SAMPU (SAMPU BILANG PINAKAMATAAS), GAANO KATAAS ANG KASALUKUYANG KALIDAD NG EDUKASYON SA UNC? 6, kasi para saakin madami pa naman tayong na-produce na board passers at mayroon din tayong magagandang programa kagaya ng Professional Employment Program (PEP) na nakakatulong na magkaroon ng magandang trabaho kapag nakapagtapos. Ngunit mayroon pa din tayong mga problema na hindi pa nasosolusyonan kagaya fees na hindi natin nakikita kung saan nga ba napunta at mga facilities na masyado na atang outdated na lubos sanang makakatulong sa pagtaas ng kalidad ng edukasyon sa UNC.

8. Sapagkat nagpatupad sila iba’t-ibang programa para sa ika-aangat ng bawat estudyante. Programa katulad nalamang ng Professional Employment Program (PEP), kung saan natetrain ang mga estudyante on how to deal with the real world. Therefore, they can be more competitive once they graduated. It gives us more opportunity to be prepared and be globally competitive. The other 2, is for more improvement. They must involve the students for the innovation that they wanted in the university.

ANO ANG PINAKAIMPORTANTENG SULIRANIN NGAYON NG MGA UNCEANO, AT ANO ANG MAIAAMBAG MO UPANG MASOLUSYUNAN ITO? Ang pinakaimportanteng suliranin ngayon ng mga UNCeano ay ang student apathy na halos taon-taon na lang nating problema at paulit ulit nalang natin ito naririnig. At kung bibigyan ng pagkakataon na maihalal bilang ikalawang pangulo, gagawa tayo ng mga programa para mas maging involved ang mga UNCeano sa mga student activities sa tulong ng ating mga organisasyon. Sa tulong ng student involvement thru organizations, mas magiging active sila sa university at mas makikialam at tutulong na sila sa mga student initiated programs and activities.

Ito ay ang Tuition Fee and Miscellaneous Fee Increase. Atin namang isipin yung mga Student Assistants, yung mga magulang natin na nagdodoble kayod para makapag-aral lamang tayo sa uniberidad na ito. We need to empower the students and involve them sa bawat decision ng ating eskwelahan. Dapat magkaroon din ng student consultation , sapagkat ito ay ating karapatan at dapat na ipaglaban.
