SPORTS HIGHLIGHTS
SAFETY We take every precaution to ensure best practice for the preparation, organisation and operation of your tour including coach company checks and accommodation inspections. We are independently audited on an annual basis and have approved 24/7 accident and emergency procedures in place.
We work with highly qualified professional staff to ensure the highest levels of quality and delivery. Your coaching sessions are designed to be challenging, enjoyable and rewarding at excellent local facilities. Festival games include matches against other British schools, subject to the number of teams entering per category, during the day and/or friendlies against local club teams (normally early evening). Most facilities are either in walking distance from your accommodation or a short coach transfer to the venue. Some of the sporting highlights include:
TRAVEL It is our absolute belief that you should travel in comfort and safety throughout. Your executive coach will be equipped with seatbelts, reclining seats, DVD (or video) player, air-conditioning (or air-flow system) and toilet. An experienced tour driver (2 for Spain and Italy) will ensure that you are in very safe hands from start to finish. All our coach companies are audited in accordance with our Safety Management System. Most groups travel on the ferry from Dover to Calais, but we also offer the popular Eurotunnel service and alternative ferry crossings too. If you prefer to fly instead, as ATOL holders (5675) your flight inclusive package will be covered too, in accordance with CAA regulations. As airline schedules and the airports serving the different destinations are constantly changing, we’ll always try to find the most suitable options for your group. ACCOMMODATION We use a selection of accommodations ranging from resort hotels, hostels and Center Parcs holiday villages. All of these have been visited by us, or our representatives, checked for their suitability for our groups and audited in accordance with our Safety Management System. Please don’t hesitate to call us to discuss before deciding which is the best option for your group.

HOLLAND
Destination Our Dutch SportsSchool is based near Eindhoven and just a short way over the border from Belgium. The region is a real sports paradise with fabulous football and hockey facilities in particular and plenty more besides. In the heart of a forest you’ll have a real sense of the great outdoors here and endless activities to keep you entertained from start to finish. Accommodation We have 2 great accommodation choices, both representing excellent value for money: 1 Enjoy simple hostel accommodation located within a large sports complex, where a number of the SportsSchool fields are based. After you’ve strolled back across from the sporting action you can use the meeting rooms, cafes and local swimming pool as well as enjoying free WIFI access throughout.
2 If you prefer our Center Parcs option, then as well as comfortable cottage accommodation, you can enjoy free access to the wonderful Aqua Mundo tropical pool. There is a large sports hall, games room and ten-pin bowling all on-site here and a private evening disco too! Excursions There are a number of fantastic excursion possibilities within the region. A guided tour of the PSV football stadium in Eindhoven is always a popular choice while you can see the 1st team train at De Herdgang, subject to scheduling at the time. Other favourites include the nearby theme park of De Efteling and the National swimming pool complex at Tongelreep. Other cultural and educational visits including an optional day trip to Amsterdam, can also be organised on request.

SPAIN Accommodation Each of our popular 3* hotels are well located in walking distance of the beach, sports facilities and town. With plenty of choice, food is buffet style in the hotel restaurants and packed lunches can be provided if you wish. All the hotels have an outdoor swimming pool, bar, TV room and plenty of space to relax.
Destination Lloret de Mar is a designated ‘vila esportiva’ (sports town) and you’ll be impressed by the fabulous sports facilities on your doorstep. A short walk from the hotel and you’ll find grass and artificial football fields, sports halls, basketball courts and a new Olympic swimming pool complex. When the sporting action has finished you can enjoy the pools, beach, shops and our exclusive evening discos in the very best venue in town.
Excursions A trip to Barcelona is always a winner and a self-guided tour of the incredible Nou Camp stadium is included in your package. Other attractions include the Ramblas, Parc Guell, Montjuic and the Sagrada Familia cathedral. The water park in Lloret de Mar is great fun for everyone and the perfect way to cool down from the Spanish sunshine (Spring Bank holiday tour only).

A traditional favourite on the Venetian coast in northern Italy, Lido di Jesolo is a popular seaside resort just an hour or so from the spectacular sights of Venice. Our festival coaching and games are all based together at the excellent sports village on the outskirts of the resort.

ITALY Destination Jesolo is a lively resort with a fantastic sandy beach. The busy strip along the seafront is lined with shops and bars. And you’ll find plenty of places to buy some pizza too! With excellent sports facilities in the town and lots of fun at the beach, the resort is an excellent choice for school groups.

Accommodation We use a selection of typical Italian 2-3 star hotels on or close to the beachfront. Most bedrooms are en-suite and good local food is served in the restaurants. Each hotel has its own private area on the huge expanse of sandy beach.

Excursions Venice is a highlight of course and we can organise a private boat transfer for your school group from Punto Sabbione to St. Mark’s Square. Enjoy the unique atmosphere of this fascinating city including the churches, backstreets and canals. IRELAND Accommodation Jacob’s hostel is an excellent base in Dublin. With a selection of twin, triple and small dormitory room accommodation, the friendly team at the hostel have been looking after our groups for years. Destination A fascinating city, Dublin has much to offer school groups from a cultural and sporting perspective. From Georgian architecture to distilleries, castles to colleges there is a diverse programme of educational activities here that can be added to your package.
