Nonprofit Westchester welcomes 13 new members

Nonprofit Westchester (NPW) is proud to welcome 13 new nonprofit members and Connect One Bank as a new silver sponsor. Hudson Valley Credit Union, Maier Markey & Justic LLP, Mutual of America Financial Group and the United Way of Westchester and Putnam increased their support to a funders sponsor level and Thompson and Bender increased their support to a platinum sponsor.

Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization, raising funds for groundbreaking research and early phase clinical trials to eradicate childhood cancer.

Girls on the Run® Hudson Valley is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization designed to enhance participants’ social, emotional and physical skills to successfully navigate life experiences. Their fun, interactive lessons meet the unique needs of participants of all abilities and backgrounds.

Foster Teen Employment Network is an organization established to connect employers to teens who will shortly age out of the foster care system and are in need of permanent mentors. This connection is meant to provide foster teens with not only the work-related skills that they will need to succeed in the future, but also with mentors who are able to serve as lasting role models.

Westchester Ballet Company is one of the oldest regional, nonprofit youth ballet companies in the United States. Founded in 1950 by celebrated ballerina and choreographer Iris Merrick and located in Ossining, New York, the company is comprised of approximately 100 young dancers who are selected each September through open auditions.

Friends of Rye Nature Center is an independent, not-for-profit organization which offers programs to people of all ages and abilities. They encourage conservation, provide environmental education, and support their community’s access to nature.
