IN THE C L A S S RO O M In High School, most classrooms don’t have desks. Instead, classes are held around oval Harkness tables. Everyone has an equal place at the table, and students take the lead in facilitating discussions. They listen respectfully to the viewpoints of others and learn to articulate their own ideas with confidence.
