Community Events The Ensworth calendar is full of opportunities to connect with other members of the community. In addition to the many arts events and athletic competitions throughout the year, there are also occasions that bring together all Ensworth families, as well as gatherings organized specifically for Ensworth parents. Listed below are some of these community-building events. PA R E N T N I G H T S AT E N S W O R T H
Parent Nights provide important startof-school information and give parents an opportunity to hear from school administrators and meet teachers. PA R E N T G AT H E R I N G S
Casual, grade-level parent gatherings are held in the fall and are hosted at parents’ homes. Details will be sent out through emails and E-News closer to these events. HOMECOMING A LL-COMMUNITY TA I L GAT E
PA N C A K E B R E A K FA S T
The Pancake Breakfast is a long-standing Ensworth tradition. Grade 8 students, parents, and faculty prepare breakfast for the Ensworth community, and proceeds from the ticket sales are donated to a non-profit chosen by the students.
Ensworth hosts an all-community tailgate in conjunction with the Homecoming celebration. The picnic is held in the quad on Frist Campus prior to the football game and includes dinner, music, and children’s activities.
G R A N D PA R E N T S D AY S
Each campus hosts a Grandparents Day where grandparents are invited to visit classrooms, tour the school, and enjoy student performances. TIGER NIGHT
TIGER NIGHT is the largest social gathering of the year for Ensworth parents and raises funds for the Parent Association and the school. S U P E R S AT U R DAY
Super Saturday is a fun, family carnival day that includes a Tiger Trot run, games, food, and prizes.
