LETTER FROM HEAD OF SCHO OL
Welcome to Ensworth It is my great pleasure to welcome your family to the Ensworth community. Nurturing the growth and development of a child is truly a collaborative effort, and we are excited to partner with you in this endeavor. We hope that you will find ways to be an active participant in the life of the school. Just as each child’s Ensworth experience is unique, the variety of opportunities for your involvement will enable you to have your own distinct experience as part of this community. To that end, we have put together this brochure with information to help in your transition and to inform you of the different avenues for your engagement in all that is Ensworth. Thank you for the confidence that you place in us by entrusting your children to Ensworth, and I look forward to partnering with you in the years to come. Sincerely,

Hello, Ensworth Parents! The mission of the Ensworth Parent Association is threefold: to Build Our Community, Educate Our Parents, and Support Our School. Our success in this mission would not be possible without the dedicated parents of Ensworth giving their time and efforts to help make Ensworth the special place that it is. Whether taking on a leadership role or joining one of Ensworth’s numerous committees, there are countless ways to be involved in the Ensworth Parent Association! Ensworth parent volunteers coordinate a variety of activities on both campuses. Some of these activities include hosting gradelevel parent gatherings, helping in our classrooms and libraries, arranging speakers on important parenting topics, organizing used uniform swaps and sales, and staging our highly anticipated annual E-vent Auction fundraiser. Parent volunteers help with important Ensworth admission events, support wonderful student drama and music productions, make concessions available at exciting home athletic events, and put on our annual school carnival, Super Saturday. More than 30 committees offer a place for every parent to be involved with life at Ensworth, no matter where your interest or talents lie. Every Ensworth parent is a member of the Parent Association. We hope that you will join the countless parent volunteers working together to build our community, educate our parents, and support our school. We look forward to partnering with you for the good of Ensworth. Elena Rollins 2017-18 President, Ensworth Parent Association
