Summer Information

SCHOOL FORMS & STARTING SCHOOL INFORMATION Resources for starting school next year, including necessary checklists, forms, and links, will be available in May on the school website. After logging in, go to the Resources tab and select the block titled “Starting School 2022-2023.” Please complete all necessary forms by their stated deadlines.

HEALTH FORMS Student Health Forms can be accessed and downloaded from the “Magnus Health” portal on the Resource Board. Please note that students must have current health forms on file at school in order to attend summer athletic practices, orientation activities, and school year classes.

TEXTBOOKS In Grades K-8, Ensworth provides all textbooks necessary for course work. In Grades 9-12, parents purchase textbooks for their students according to their class schedule. High School parents will receive their students’ schedules in early July and may order textbooks from Textbook Hub (Ensworth’s official textbook vendor) or another source. Instructions for ordering books from Textbook Hub are included on the “Starting School 2022 - High School” Resource Board.

SUMMER ATHLETIC PRACTICES AND TRYOUTS Information regarding summer athletic practices and workouts for Middle School and High School athletics are available at ensworth.com/athletics.

UNIFORMS Mills School Uniforms and Lands’ End are official providers of Ensworth dress. Mills uniform items may be purchased at 204 Ward Circle, Brentwood TN 37027 or online at millswear.com. Lands’ End uniform items may be purchased by phone at 1-800-469-2222 or online at landsend. com/school, ID code 9001-0210-4. Items not purchased from Mills or Lands’ End must fulfill the school’s Dress Code requirements and may not contain any logo other than the Ensworth logo. Details regarding Regular, Formal, and Casual dress are articulated in the Ensworth Handbook (available on the Resource Board).

P.E. & Fitness uniforms are provided for students in Grades 4-12 and will be issued when school begins in August. Students in Grades K-3 wear their regular uniform during P.E. class.

TIGER BUDDIES AND MENTORS Families of new students in Grades K-8 will be paired with a Tiger Buddy family, a current family in the child’s grade who will offer assistance in the months leading up to school. Incoming students in Grades 9-12 will also be matched with a student mentor assigned by the Student Life Office during orientation.
