And with the advent of electric cars and vehicles, there likely is the desire of the curious minds to keep innovating and presenting with cutting edge technology to improve the performance. But to reach to that point, the EV industry also needs to be equipped with the right kind of infrastructure, one that will help to accommodate the consumer demand. And with everything in place, the day is not far when an electric vehicle will be a common factor on the roads.

GoingGoing How Sustainability Is Impacting The Way Businesses Operate | September 202220
Business sustainability has come a long way. Today, more than 50% of CEOs in the UK are planning to increase their investments in sustainability. It could be by offering sustainable products and services or developing sustainability strategies.
Since sustainability is not a trend that is likely to end anytime soon, here are some ways it has already influenced
Making this small change can help to reduce traffic and a company’s overall carbon footprint. In addition to this, with fewer people in the office, businesses can save money usually spent on stocking, lighting and heating the workplace for employees.
The reduced commute is great for the environment. It means that there are fewer vehicles on the road and time spent waiting in traffic. All of which equates to less carbon dioxide emissions into the air.
business operations both nationally and internationally.
With more work completed online, it has shown that there is less need for people to be in a physical office. Remote working has become increasingly popular over the years, in particular in the past 18 months. This new style of hybrid working has allowed employees to have work-life flexibility and eliminates the time commuting between home and the office.
Companies should have a comprehensive supply chain and logistics management system in place. One way to implement this is by looking into a course in logistics or an online supply chain management course.
www.theenterpriseworld.com | 21
Impacted Supply Chains And Logistics
ncorporating sustainability into a business strategy isI no longer a debate. In an ever-evolving world, considering a values-driven approach when developing business strategies can be vital, especially long-term success. Sustainability in business encompasses the impact companies have on the environment or society. It contributes to the health of the structure within which it operates. Therefore, it helps construct an environment in which the business can thrive.
Ways It Has Influenced Business Operations:
Incorporating sustainability into a company’s supply chains is complex. However, the failure to act on it might be a high risk for all. Many companies do not have a comprehensive understanding of the impact of their supply chain on sustainability.
Companies of all shapes and sizes need to analyse consumer attitudes. As people begin to learn more about climate change and its effects, their buying habits are shifting accordingly.
business strategies aim to have a positive impact on either the environment or society or combined. It helps to address some of the world’s most pressing problems. Many sustainable business models will earn profits by being socially responsible and protecting their use of the planet’s resources.
Embraced Remote Working
GreenGreen
Climate change and sustainability continue to dominate topics of conversation as it has an impact on the corporateSustainablelandscape.
Promoting Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Improve Recruitment Rate And EmployeeŸ Retention – Similar to how consumers want to work with businesses that share the same sustainability values, employees want to work for an environmentally conscious company. Talented employees do not want to work for or be associated with businesses involved in ecological disasters. If a company showcases how it is respectful towards the environment and its employees, it can help to attract a high calibre of people to employ.
occasions where reusing or reducing the use of an item is not possible. In these instances, recycling is the next best solution. Many cities are helpful and have provided bins for this. They have made the recycling process less complicated to ensure that the waste bin can be left as empty as possible.
4 Benefits Of Becoming A Sustainable Business
Improve Brand Image And Offers CompetitiveŸ Edge – By being a sustainable business, it can help to improve brand image. Consumers today are increasingly more aware of environmental concerns. As a result, they are more likely to purchase from or work with a company known for its sustainable practices. Practising sustainability can also help to give a company a competitive advantage over rival companies.
With a rising number of companies looking into new ways to make their business more sustainable business through policies and investments, it is clear that sustainability is more than just a buzzword. It is something that companies are aiming to achieve, as they aim to reduce their carbon footprint whilst meeting the demands of consumers.
Many supply chain and logistics management courses include topics that focus on how companies can be more sustainable in their supply chain management. A business can use this detailed insight to improve their current supply chain and logistics management process and improve
Regardless of the business or the sector, sustainability is a major challenge that matters beyond individual companies. Fortunately, a reassuring number of large companies are currently developing forward-thinking sustainability policies to implement into their business.
Global warming, pollution and climate change are forcing regulations to be imposed on businesses to help fight against climate change. Another reason for these regulations is due to some companies ignoring the decline in the state of the environment. It could be not disposing of hazardous waste appropriately or being negligent towards their water and electricity usage. By incorporating sustainability into corporate practices as soon as possible, companies avoid penalties or fines under environmental legislation.
Helps With Complying With Changing RegulationsŸ
Companies should aim to reuse items wherever possible. If working in a warehouse, instead of throwing away a structurally intact box, reuse it. For those working in an office, employees should use both sides of the paper when printing. It reduces the amount of paper needed for things like an information booklet.
Attracts Better Quality Investments – Financial andŸ investment analysts have recognised companies that have developed sustainability plans as important evaluator criteria. It could be how they have become more energy-efficient or how they are reducing their environmental impact. Showing investors how the company has become more environmentally friendly and plans to maintain sustainability can help the business obtain the funds needed to expand.
Theresustainability.mightbe
One of the best ways to keep waste out of landfills is by not sending it there. Businesses should aim to reduce their waste wherever possible. For instance, instead of using disposable plates, cups and utensils, use real glass and ceramics as an alternative. It reduces how much they are throwing away after a single use.
In Summary
Despite some steps taken by companies that might be smaller than others, they are all headed towards making their respected industry more sustainable business.
| September 202222
For companies that have already implemented sustainable business practices, some have already noticed a change in their company’s operation. From switching to energyefficient appliances to altering their supply chain and logistics operations, there are various ways companies have improved their business operations. The benefits that a company could reap from becoming a sustainable business are plentiful. These are a few of the potential benefits of being more sustainable business.

Looking forward to the future of automobiles, electric vehicles are set to bring on an energy revolution. What once was a luxury is now set to become the new normal. The main reason behind this evolution is the rapid equalizing of the costs of gas vehicles and electric vehicles.
We are seeing big players like Cadillac, GM, VW, and Ford double down with luxury EVs, SUVs, and Trucks. We anticipate that 50% of new car sales will be electric by 2030. MercedesBenz's ultra-efficient VISION EQXX electric car traveled 750 miles (1,200 km) on a single charge. There are also boutique manufacturers striving to develop niche designer EVs, while others are looking to cut costs to the bare minimum to establish a basic EV for the more frugal market.

After just a few years of starting operations, the company directors decided that the multi-million-dollar investment was not viable. Even after bringing in expert engineers to redesign a flaw in the equipment, the directors were fixated to cease and wind down the company in the December of 1998.
As an integral part of the GM Volt Project team from 2008-2014, Laura saw the evolution of Electric Vehicles and the reality of EV charging and infrastructure challenges (and the enormous opportunities that go with it). Battery testing equipment sales were skyrocketing. The owner was able to sell for a generous price to a complementary company from Italy. Laura stayed with the new ownership for a while, but was hungry to go back on her own.
Another unique solution the company oers is that of electric vehicle (EV) charging. Laura has been working with design teams to provide a host of solutions, especially in the DC Fast Charging field. As most automakers

rapid, reliable charges. DC FastCharging systems deliver widespread fast charging and is financially viable. Yet, a lack of supporting infrastructure hinders the transition to sustainable transportation. Current EV charging infrastructure is impractical and inecient to install due to “get ready” requirements that can run up to $200$500,000 or more to install. The aging electricity grids will also be put under tremendous strain as the anticipated numbers of EVs increase.
Ultimately, one can get EVs charged in 12-30 minutes (depending on range), not hours, and back onto the road in the shortest time possible. Regent's solution is entirely scalable, and as more advanced EV's come into the marketplace, there is a greater chance for the company to scale the energy delivery beyond 500 Kw with a simple firmware change.
Regent's DC fast chargers are not only safe, fast, and reliable. They are also more affordable than most any solution currently on the market because they require much less expensive “get ready” costs. They can charge micro-grids of batteries to charge “off peak” grid when electricity costs are more aordable allowing them to sidestep demand charges to recoup fixed costs for utility expenditure like power plants, power lines, and transformers enable customers to connect charge their EVs.
The initial challenges the company faced were that of capital and managing growth. Due to the long sales cycle of EV equipment, integration challenges in building a scalable infrastructure to reliably meet the incoming needs of electric vehicles, these initiatives are just beginning to gain traction.
are releasing electric cars with vast amounts of range (up to 500+ miles and climing), the charging infrastructure is critical. Standardization is needed. In this article, we’ll discuss some common use cases for ESNs, how they can help you, and how to deploy one. Keep reading to learn more about how environmental sensor networks work and how they can be used for large-scale monitoring.
ESNs are often used in business settings to monitor and manage various environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and air quality in business facilities. This can help ensure that the environment is comfortable and safe for employees and can also help reduce energy costs by optimizing HVAC settings.
ESNs are becoming increasingly important for monitoring environmental conditions in business settings. Environmental Sensor Networks can provide valuable insights into issues such as energy consumption, indoor air quality, and climate control. In particular, ESNs can help businesses save energy and money by optimizing their operations in response to changing environmental
sensor networks can help businesses save money by monitoring water usage. For example, businesses can use ESNs to detect leaks and track water usage by area. This information can help businesses save money on their water bills by identifying areas where water usage can be reduced.
The Benefits of Using ESNs for Large-Scale Monitoring
Sensor networks are composed of many small, low-power devices that can collect and share data. The deployment of Environmental Sensor Networks for large-scale monitoring is a complex process that considers the needs of the system and its users. Network architecture, sensor placement, data processing and management, and communication protocols must all be considered when designing and deploying a sensor

How To Deploy an ESN
businesses save energy in several ways. For example, if the temperature in a building rises too high, ESNs can be used to adjust the air conditioning settings accordingly. ESNs can also be used to optimize lighting levels and indoor air quality, both of which can affect energy consumption. In addition, ESNs can be used to monitor energy consumption in specific areas of a building, allowing businesses to target areas where energy savings can be
The first step in deploying a sensor network is to identify the goals of the system. What information is needed? What areas need to be monitored? What kind of data will be collected? Once the goals have been identified, the next step is to select the appropriate sensors. Many factors must be considered when selecting sensors, including environmental conditions, range of detection, power requirements, and

the critical areas identified, the sensors should be placed in these areas in a way that will provide the most accurate data. Once the sensors have been placed, the data can be collected and analyzed to help improve the efficiency of the building. Data management systems play an important role in ESNs by organizing and managing large volumes of data from multiple sources.
Sensor networks can also help businesses save money by providing insights into how climate control affects employee productivity. For example, if the temperature is too cold, employees may be less productive. Environmental Sensor Networks can help businesses adjust the climatecontrol settings to find the ideal temperature for employees.
