NavigatingtheRoadblocks
Whilediscussingtheperspectiveonthe currentstateofarchitectsandthe approachtohandlingit,Mr.Sikkasays, “Therearetwoaspectsofthecurrent situation,oneisofcoursethe disappointmentbecauseofthelowand worseninglevelofremuneration.Another aspect,withwhichtheprofessionshould behappy,isthescaleoftheprojects today Theprojectstoday,aremuch larger,andsoarethechallengesand opportunities.”

Governmentalinitiativestypically taketenyearsorlongertofinish.The termsoftheagreementincludeno mentionofpayingforchanges, whichdooccurwhenprojectsare spacedoutacrossyears.The Government,whichcontinuestobe thebiggestuserofservices,andthe professionnowneedtowork togethertoundoanydamage,asthe situationhasreachedacriticalpoint.
FuellingProgress
Afirm’sgrowthisdrivenbya varietyofsuccesstriggers,including astrongbusinessstrategy,asolid financialfoundation,andadedicated team.Additionally,market conditions,technological advancements,andshiftsin consumerbehaviorcanalsoplaya significantrole.

Duringthemid-eighties,SAAcamein contactwith(Late)PadmaBhushan BalaSahebVikhePatil,mostlyengaged intheeducationbusinessat AhmednagarandLoniinMaharashtra. Forthenext35years,therelationship grew,andtogethertheycreatedseveral campusesandturnedthesetownsinto nationaleducationaldestinations.
