HOW

ADD ICT ARE VIDEO GAMES? 22 | APRIL 2022

www.theenterpriseworld.com | 23

Video game or "gaming" addiction, like any other addiction, is frequently a multi-faceted problem. To begin with, video games are made to be addicting. Although not "addictive" in the clinical sense, game designers are continuously seeking for methods to make their games more fascinating so that consumers would spend more time playing them. This is especially true for game creators that rely on in-game purchases to make money. Gaming designers, more than anyone else, aim to answer the question, "What makes a video game addictive?" They want you to want to keep playing after you log in or pick up the controller. This isn't to say that game creators are out to seduce a fresh generation of young people into playing video games. However, what starts out as a harmless source of amusement may quickly turn into a consuming addiction for some. What is Video Game Addiction? Gaming disorder was officially defined as an addictive habit by the World Health Organization in 2018. It has three elements: a loss of control over one's gaming, gaming gaining precedence over other aspects of one's life, and continued usage despite negative repercussions and poor functioning in other parts of one's life.

24 | APRIL 2022

REASONS FOR ADDICTIVE ARE VIDEO GAMES

Video games offer a sense of adventure.

Video games allow you to escape from social constraints.

Games provide an endless opportunity to discover new worlds. Gaming settings provide a high degree of exploration and experimentation without the hazards that exist in the offline world for individuals who want novelty. The modern world might appear monotonous, especially if you are bored and unsatisfied with your job or education. Gaming settings provide an escape from the humdrum of daily life and can be addicting due to the endless possibilities they provide.

Games provide an escape from the confines of the offline world, ranging from fantasy science fiction realms to realistic fighting situations. This is especially true for people who suffer from social anxiety. Individuals who find social settings anxiety-provoking, confused, or over-stimulating may find offline social engagement difficult. Games provide a sense of freedom and control as an escape from the limits of social anxiety. Although video games provide a temporary distraction, neglecting in-person social settings has a long-term cost. Games give virtual independence while keeping an individual reliant on the game as a sort of escape, rather than addressing one's concerns and coping with anxiety. Using games to avoid difficult emotions can lead to increased use over time, making inperson interaction even more difficult. Video games allow you to experiment with different identities. Games allow players to test out different identities without the longterm social consequences of the offline world by experimenting with their own gaming avatar. This can be particularly appealing to those who are unhappy with their offline identity, have poor self-esteem, or feel unable to express certain elements of their identity in their offline social situation. Identity exploration through games may be good and freeing, but it can also be harmful to one's offline identity and self-esteem development. This is especially true if games are used as an escape or a strategy to avoid dealing with more serious selfesteem issues.

Video games facilitate a flow state. Flow states occur when you are entirely involved in a task. This is also known as "being in the zone." You may lose track of time while feeling invigorated and focused. When you're doing something demanding but not too difficult, you'll find yourself in a flow condition. Video games are made to put players in a flow state by taxing them just enough to keep them interested but not too much, and creating a sense of purpose as they progress. The sense of purpose derived from games is comparable to that derived from non-gaming activities. Life outside of gaming may appear less interesting if games become the sole way of addressing this demand for a feeling of purpose and development. Video games are addictive because they offer an easier way to meet this need, without the risks of working to meet this need outside of a gaming environment. Video games facilitate a sense of progress through leveling up. Through its purpose orientation, games provide a sensation of progress. Furthermore, when players' abilities develop, they get a sensation of mastery. Character development,

resource collection, leveling up to new surroundings, and various point systems all represent this mission focus and skill improvement. This sensation of advancement might be especially satisfying for someone who feels stuck in their offline life. Games satisfy our basic desire to sense progress, even if it is only virtual advancement. A variable-ratio payout schedule is another addicting characteristic found in many games. Games, like slot machines, include elements that reward players at random, keeping them hooked on a sense of suspense. This reward mechanism is commonly known as loot boxes.

Video games with no defined end encourage infinite play. Long-term investment is encouraged in games with no fixed endpoint. This may be addicting because the more time and energy someone puts into an activity, the more difficult it is to just stop doing it. Long-term engagement with a particular avatar also creates a sense of identity involvement, making it more difficult to let go. Longer gaming sessions are also encouraged by games with no fixed finish. This is the video game equivalent of a Netflix marathon. Gaming can go on endlessly, potentially isolating oneself from the rest of the world. CONCLUSION Video games are addicting because they may satisfy our psychological needs for

autonomy, growth, and social connection. Video games create an atmosphere in which people can feel free of social restraints, social anxiety, and feeling of adventure. Through a goal orientation and the chance to level up, video games offer convey a sense of purpose and progress. Finally, video games give a venue for people to build social bonds with others who share their interests. Games may be utilized to satisfy these demands online when they are not met in one's offline surroundings. Meeting one's requirements through games rather than in non-gaming situations increases the allure of gaming, making it increasingly difficult to meet these needs outside of it.

eople often feel insurance is an unnecessary expense, especially if they have never submitted a claim to their insurance company nor experienced a catastrophic loss. However, just as one unforeseen medical emergency can eradicate years of savings, one severe weather incident can destroy a home forcing the residents' displacement while trying to rebuild and replace all that was lost.

Considering the evolution of technology, and the number of companies that have made purchasing insurance as easy as it gets, obtaining the right insurance is also imperative. Featuring for The Enterprise World's issue of The Most Admired Companies to Watch Out is RIGHTSURE, INC., your partner for all things insurance. The Company-

Because these events can and do happen to people without cause, it is always important to invest in insurance.

RIGHTSURE, INC. is a leading-edge technology company, built to help

people with everything related to insurance. The company conducts insurance by blending Artificial Intelligence, Chatbots, Mobile Apps including the ones that they created and the Multivariate Rating Technology, all to save individuals money and time. Founded in 1997 RIGHTSURE, INC. is headquartered in Arizona and proudly serves clients across 43 states. of their insurance. The team makes sure that the platform is continuously focused on the client's experience, which relies upon their Famously Friendly Humans' ability to execute and exceed every policyholder's expectations. Overcoming the ChallengesNot every challenge that comes our way leaves us with just one lesson to learn. Some challenges persist as a reminder that the best is yet to come. Such was the case with RIGHTSURE, INC. They

started the company to eliminate one big hurdle: how to be different and better in a very crowded, somewhat antiquated, and often solely price-driven space. Today, even after years of achievements and successes, it is a challenge that remains. It acts as a constant mirror of where they have come as a team, and what is yet to come.

The Growth Quotient-

The company is thus set out on a mission to change the entire insurance ecosystem and with it end the infamous practice of rate shopping, done by most insurance firms.

One of RIGHTSURE, INC.'S key breakthroughs was the invention of RightRater a 90-second auto insurance tool used by car dealerships across the US to provide instant auto insurance options to car buyers. The RightRater app, launched five years ago, is now used by over 300 auto dealers and 60,000 policyholders across the country – generating nearly $100 million in premiums.

manages such all for FREE. This breakthrough of theirs manages all policies in a single online portal, alerts customers to renewals, searches for all available discounts, and connects policyholders with coverage specialists for any desired policy reviews. Jeff Arnold- Leading the WayFounder The Next Big ThingLooking towards a new era, RIGHTSURE, INC. designed a model around the idea of their customers never again experiencing another rate increase from the insurance company. This led them to launch their Discount Discovery Platform. With this, they aim to not become just another quoting tool, but rather a platform where customers get answers to all their insurance questions. RIGHTSURE, INC.’S RATEGUARD app finds all available discounts and provides instant access to all of a customer's policies – even those NOT written through the agency – and

The president of RIGHTSURE, INC., Jeff Arnold, has an interesting backstory. Jeff grew up in a rural and impoverished area of Kentucky. He started working at age 12 under the hot sun on a tobacco farm, then proudly served in the United States Army and even performed comedy as a starving actor in Hollywood before landing in insurance. While some people see insurance as boring, Jeff sees it as an industry of opportunity, if one is willing to put in the work. He founded his first agency, Western Pacific Insurance Brokerage, in Tucson, Ariz. in 1988, building it the old-fashioned way — knocking on doors and cold-calling hundreds of prospects. He's also a great listener.

As he likes to say, “I'm the dumbest person in any conference room.” Of course, it's that humility and willingness to learn from others that sets him apart. He's not a fast talker or a stereotypical deal-maker. In his spare time, he serves as a school board chairman; takes children on inner-city missions to feed the homeless; and builds houses for villagers in Mexico and Africa. As the son of a preacher, Jeff likes to say, “I'm grounded in goodness.” His strongest motivation is delivering the best customer experience, and he knows for sure that if you get the customer experience right, revenue will follow. As a business leader, Jeff's philosophy is: “Hire the right people and get out of their way.” He also strives to clearly communicate his vision and to gain team consensus at every step. Colleagues describe Jeff's style as down-to-earth, practical, real, trustworthy, and believable. Jeff is passionate about discovering the right opportunity at the right time. How

can insurance and financial service firms crack the code and deliver the right product and service mix for this booming audience? His company is active in several joint ventures with online aggregators, comparison websites, and insurance portals. And Jeff is always looking for unconventional ways to succeed in the very traditional industry known as insurance. Jeff's Exceptional Team“We have the very best folks on our team, and each department happens to head by a female. I've not come across a female-forward management team in the insurance-insurtech space, and there's no denying that this fact contributes to our culture.” All of these female division heads have

decades of experience in the insurance industry, all have multiple years in the organization, and all are selfmotivated. The managers value rerecruitment of the staff, empower folks to be their best, show appreciation for good hard work done, and positively coach through performance opportunities to keep the employees motivated and excited to be here. The team makes constant strides to keep RIGHTSURE, INC. a fun and rewarding place to work. They invest a lot in the team members and recognize the company wouldn't succeed without all of the friendly humans. They volunteer in community betterment activities together, have socials outside of work, afford any education if of use and interest, give RIGHTSURE, INC. gear and clothing to wear for work, and offer in or outof-office working abilities, benefits,

meals, gift cards and anything else they can identify as a benefit for the valued staff. Does Competition Bring Out The BestJeff Says“Depends on what constitutes the best or goal of the competition. If an organization is engaged by competing in an enterprise that financially or otherwise preys on consumers, then obviously no – it does not engender the best. However, if competition induces a company to debias, SWAT every aspect/product/service it offers, routinely examine fiscal practices, and challenge an organization's operation prism, all geared toward offering an enhanced product or service to the consumer…then yes, it can bring out the best all day long.”

s far fetched as it may have been, women have marked a pedestal in business. Our matchmaking platform considers sector, maturity, location and financial need, leveraging investment performance. What were the initial challenges you faced? We originally aimed to start in Spain, but in order to access lots of female entrepreneurs we realised that we had to expand further, going to Europe, the USA and Canada. developing a platform that was adequate for matching startups with investors and which could support this process.

What is the reason behind your company’s longstanding success?

Which was that point that triggered the growth of the company?

When joining our platform, start-ups and investors are required to fill out a comprehensive form that enables us to match them effectively, avoiding time-wasting in mismatched criteria.

We started to realise in 2017 that there was a gap in the market. Females were not being recognised. We talked to start-ups and told them that we wanted to connect them with investors through a new marketplace. They were delighted to have some help. During COVID, we saw there was opportunity for growth in March/April 2020 when we received lots of questions and responses from start-ups that we were in contact with, or that we had helped. How have the company graphs changed since the foundation? Can you share a few statistics? We have built an ecosystem of 10000 start-ups led by females in the technology sector, as well as by both males and females in social impact. The is aiming to reach 1400 investors.

SEPTEMBER 2022 2022 40 | APRIL

The Products/Services What are the products/services the company focuses on? How are your services different from those in the market? Our business functions both online and offline. We offer Webinar Sessions, Podcasts, Mentoring Sessions, Pitching Sessions, Online and Offline Events and Grants communications, collaborating with public and private organisations to give start-ups in our platform the best chance of success. We really care about giving visibility to and leveraging

investment in female technology entrepreneurs and social impact projects. Our service is free for start-ups, enabling them to access networking opportunities with top investors and industry experts, as well as our events. Additional platforms connecting start-ups with investors have emerged since our inception. However, we have a global reach and specifically support females in technology and social impact projects (regardless of gender). Finally, we know and understand female needs, concerns and strengths, and have talked to many women in order to learn about the differences in what needs, concerns and strengths they have based on the country they are coming from, and how investors are different in different countries. How do you decide to take the company a step further in terms of your products/services? We are experiencing exponential growth in the industry, globally. The market needs a way for investors to easily find technological female start-ups and social impact projects. For 2022, we are preparing academic courses for females aspiring to become investors, which will be provided through our website, with more courses being added in the near future. We are aiming to grow our platform on both sides so we have an even more diverse platform of start-ups and investors in order to improve success rates. Leadership Can you please brief us about your professional experience? I began working in private banking in 2000. In 2011, I created Pluribus United Foundations along with 15 private foundations in order to work and create synergies between them. I changed paths to pursue the mentoring of businesses through Startup-Bootcamp. IN 2016, I began a position as Investor Relations Director at THCAP Venture Capital. Impulse4women was born from combining my passion for mentorship with investment.

through the connections made on our platform. We are seeing the benefit of the mentoring sessions we provide which help start-ups to avoid mistakes and grow quicker. How do you look after your employees? What makes your team unique? Our employees are valued. We give them opportunities to learn and get involved in projects of all kinds. Being a start-up, there is an opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the business (working with clients, legal documents, marketing), no matter what your principal role may be. Our employees are engaged with the project and we are giving back to them. Is there any special experience with your clients you would like to highlight? Rather than a special experience, it is a special relationship. We understand what they need and what they are looking for. We want to give them the opportunity to take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey. We listen to our clients and give them what they are asking for. From my professional background as an investor, we really know the weak points as well as the strengths of the sector, and understand what we need from the start-ups in this way. We give them this add-value. Constant vigilance- a need or a strategy? Please share your views. It is a need, because if you are not checking what you are doing in the short term, you will be going off track from your objectives and you will not know it until it is too late. The strategy is important but helps to build the project, we need to constantly check the strategy, where we are currently, and where we are going. It’s a rat-race out there. How do you cope with that? That’s a good question! I believe that it is good to have competitors. It means that what you are doing makes sense and is relevant. I see competition as a positive thing. Competitors push you to figure out how to give more value to your offerings in order to be the best in the market.

What are the key achievements of your entrepreneurial journey? I am seeing the impact of the work we do at Impulse4women. Startups have obtained investment

our brand needs a story to sell, and the best way to do it is with the help of good public relations. the prestigious global media PRWeek announced M3 Communications Group, Inc. as “most commended PR agency in Europe”, an year before same magazine announced Maxim Behar as “best PR professional in Europe”. What a great achievement! What were the initial challenges you faced? Of course, the most important challenge is fast developing business and changes of social media, which brought to dramatic changes in the whole business. The fact that everyone owns media, the fact that the world is full with people who have access to media and they can manipulate the information, but also to provide important knowledge puts a lot of challenges which at the end need new professional, new approaches and completely new knowledge. Which was that point that triggered the growth of the company? Work with big international clients, their benchmarks and demands. Clients like Microsoft, Cisco, Danone, Michelin. Loreal, Mars, Lockheed Martin, and many others which you had and have throughout the years rapidly increased our knowledge, abilities and triggered our corporate and professional wish for constant success.

44 | APRIL 2022

What is the reason behind your company's long-standing success? The reason is simple – my team, our professionalism and our total focus is on client's satisfaction. We do not agree always with client. But we make clients to agree with us because we know their needs and we know how to achieve their success. Clients' success is our success – this is more than a chemistry, this is the one and only target to achieve. What are the products/services the company focuses on? How are your services different from those in the market? Ten years ago – media relation. Ten days ago it was social media, ten days in the future – for sure something else, like for example live coverage, video production, live storytelling… All of them interesting and exciting projects. How do you decide to take the company a step further in terms of your products/services? These days everything is video and everything is real time. A story happened five minutes ago is already an old story. Live streaming, live coverage and live storytelling requires completely different professional qualities and we are learning them every day. It is a great journey and we a;; in the company enjoy it. Is there any new addition to the list of products/services? Anything exciting you would like to share? Everything which is real time is exciting, demanding and professional. These days we offer it with no doubt. Can you please brief us about your professional experience? I was a journalist for many years and 27 years ago decided to move to the communications business, even

without not knowing what is PR. Since then graduated a lot of Universities and specialized in and graduate Harvard Kennedy School, The Pacific Institute in Seattle, London School of Management, Kenshu Institute in Yokohama and many others. My main education comes from Prague Economic University in Czech Republic on International Business. I was for many years President of Global PR Organisation ICCO, Chairman of the Prince of Wales Business Leaders Forum in Bulgaria and now I am a president of the World Communications Forum Association In Davos Switzerland. What are the key achievements of your entrepreneurial journey? Doing my job professionally, honestly and 7/24. Learning and sharing, teaching and listening. This is the most important for me in my everyday job. How do you look after your employees? What makes your team unique? To be honest, I hate the word “employee”, I consider them my colleagues, I am part of their team and they are part of mine. So, called “horizontal management”, presented by me in my latest book The Morning After gives them security that they have an equal to them and very professional boss, but also gives me the security that all we learn together every single day.

successfully one must have huge experience and to learn every day. One person who you admire the most? No. I admire at most my late father of course, but also all my friends, colleagues, clients, teachers and even just a normal people who I met coincidentally. Form each of them I've learned a lot and I am learning every day. Whose business story do you find the most inspiring? Each business story has its uniqueness. And also – lessons. The great ability is to know how to learn these lessons. Which is the most inspiring quote you have read? Sorry to say this, but it is mine. Worst decision is better than no decision. Constant vigilance- a need or a strategy? Please share your views. My strategy is simple. Constant learning and hard working. It's a rat-race out there. How do you cope with that? Of course, I have my own system, for Maxim Behar day does not have 24 hours, but just 22, 2 of them are for social media and learning new approaches.

Is there any special experience with your clients you would like to highlight? Sure. Crisis Management. Ten years before we had some ten hours to respond or to solve a crisis, today we do not have even 10 minutes. But to know how to do this

Technological innovation has had a significant impact on the growth and security of numerous business sectors during the last several decades. The current technology has made it simple for everyone to adjust to the latest working ways, from mechanization to the corporate sector. Furthermore, technological advancements have greatly increased people's cognitive ability. Security is a balance act between the attacker and the defense. Unfortunately, such equilibrium is never maintained. Both sides are affected by technological advancements. New technology are being used by society to reduce the scope of defection, or what attackers can get away with, and attackers are using new technologies to enhance it. The difference in how the two groups integrate new technology is fascinating. Whether you work in the manufacturing business or in the finance department, you must have seen how new technology has enhanced the security industry. It allows individuals to operate efficiently while still providing comprehensive protection and safety. Since the advent of digital media, the everyday technological progress has shocked people and inspired them to achieve the impossible. The

convergence of technology, security systems, and data formats has totally revolutionized business operations and reliability. In the meanwhile, technological advancements have altered personal and domestic security systems. Even a thief nowadays understands that breaking into a property will trigger an alarm at the nearby police station, as well as an automatic display of the house's information. The following is a rundown of the influence of increased technology on security: Adoption of Artificial Intelligence in Security Systems It seems hard to write a piece about technological developments without mentioning AI (AI). Many people also believe that AI is no longer a fad and that the AI "genie" has escaped the bottle. On a daily basis, we all use and are exposed to useful AI and deep learning-based services. Our position is that technology should not be controlled in and of itself, but that new technological use cases should be. Local, regional, and worldwide legislation and regulations governing the development and use of AI-based technology and applications should be devised. It goes without saying that any firm that uses AI should adhere to it. While we remain optimistic about AI and deep learning's promise in video surveillance, we anticipate a greater focus on measures to guarantee that AI is used responsibly and without prejudice. This is a good thing, and it will become much more so as AI gets increasingly integrated into all aspects of video monitoring. AI will be used to improve and optimize all areas of video surveillance performance, from camera setup to picture quality to

analytics, as AI becomes further integrated into the most fundamental layers of technology – the system-onchip (SoC). The majority of burglars are opportunists. They evaluate a home's security and choose the simplest target, which is usually the gate. Artificial intelligence systems of many sorts are put in the gates. A smartlock is a combination of a smart key and a lock. The smart key is the sole way for users to unlock the gate. The smart lock's sensors detect the key. If a burglar tries to open the gate, the smart lock's alarm goes off. Vehicle recognition technology can be used to open even the most advanced security gates. Only automobiles equipped with GPS can pass via these gates. Remotely Operated System for Protection Against Terrorism Due to their vulnerability, property and valuables constantly require enhanced terrorist security. Furthermore, vulnerable regions and communities must be safeguarded. As a result, organizations deploy Remotely Operated Weapon Systems (OWS) to better safeguard their precious assets and communities from terrorism threats. These weapons are both lethal and non-lethal, and they are used by organizations to meet their security needs. The introduction of these weapons is not just a temporary requirement, but also a requirement for maintaining security. Robots Are Magnifying Security Another important influence of technology on security management is the deployment of robots at various locations to assist in the tracking of individuals and their valuable items. They are capable of detecting a wide range of anomalies, including open doors, spills, leaks, and the removal of

items from a specific location. Humans are notorious for overlooking different security issues. However, placing the robot in critical places increases the security requirements. Furthermore, the robot's support of two-way radio and video conferencing allows the user to oversee things from various locations. Because robots do not require sleep, they can operate well late at night or on weekends. Robots have already been implemented in the majority of industrialized countries and well-established businesses to help with security issues. This fantastic effort allows them to operate without fear of being attacked, and their important goods are also safe. However, the installation of this wonderful technological miracle is a little pricey, but it is well worth it. Drones Perform Several Functions Surprisingly, most significant enterprises have begun to send drones to remote places that not only watch but also record all activities. Another

big advantage of drones in terms of security is that they are equipped with a sensor that detects gas leaks and smoke in real time. Some drones are equipped with adequate communication and emergency response systems. When necessary, some of them supply essential information. Specifically, introducing drones to the office (especially in large firms) is a smart concept to address security concerns, while comprehensive surveillance leads in increased employee productivity. Installation of Radars Currently, the emergence of low-cost high-resolution radars represents a significant technical advancement. You can easily integrate them with existing security cameras because they have the same ability to monitor perimeters as security cameras. One of the main advantages of radar is that it is simple to install and has no moving components. It makes them far more accessible for maintenance than traditional security cameras.

Furthermore, their efficiency is unaffected by bad weather or low illumination. As a result, highresolution radars are both cost-effective and game-changers in this era of technological progress. To summarize, as compared to traditional security management approaches, implementing the latest security technologies and methodologies is not only costeffective but also simple to implement. Modern issues, in fact, necessitate modern answers. As a result, all firms seeking unparalleled success in their industry must employ the most modern security management system available. However, knowing how to use the most complex tools is just as vital as knowing how to use the latest technology. Otherwise, time and money would be wasted. Keep in mind that not every security technology is required for your company. So, use the equipment that best suits your requirements.

The RBL Group has produced over 35 books and 100's of articles that define each of these four areas. Using this human capability framework, we are able to show the continued connection to stakeholder results.

Out of this work, we have articulated three simple metathemes or agendas for human capability to rise to the opportunities, relevant to all interested in human capability. ·

HR is not about HR, but delivering value to all stakeholders inside (employees, business strategy) and outside (customer, investor, community).

·

HR contributes human capability (talent, leadership, and organization) to all stakeholders.

·

HR reinvention occurs through the HR department, HR people, and business conversations.

Based on these assumptions, we offer a number of ways to upgrade business and HR leaders. We believe that business leaders have primary responsibility to deliver these results, with HR support as business partners. We have created a portfolio of development experiences for business and HR leaders and we offer personal coaching.

1: RBL Institute. The RBL Institute is a membership organization of companies committed to thought leadership and action in HR that delivers value. Member companies send participants to think tanks to shape new ideas (recent/upcoming think tanks on agility, hybrid work, mental health/well being, public human capability reporting, post COVID leadership trends, and the new workforce), participate in the latest research, access personal advisory services, and share best practices. The RBL institute is the incubator of innovative ideas with impact. 2: HR individual in-person learning. We partner with the University of Michigan in their Advanced HR Executive Program (AHREP) where global participants learn the play book for the future of HR based on the 35 year HR competency research. The faculty in this 2 week program include thought leaders in strategy (Ram Charan), global HR (Arthur Yeung), CHRO agenda and DEI (Myrian Graddick-Weir), HR profession (Johnny Taylor), strategic HR (Wayne Brockbank), HR analytics (Dick Beatty), HR compensation (Charlie Tharp) and HR value creation (Dave Ulrich).

Building Business and HR Leaders

3: HR in person virtual learning Partnering with Udemy, we have created virtual learning academies on talent (12 modules), HR (16 modules), leadership (12 modules), and market-oriented ecosystems (8 modules). These virtual academies include blended learning with digital, personal modules and facilitated discussion groups. Participants can access and personalize the HR playbook for success. Participants can also access personal assessment and improvement modules 4: HR virtual team learning experience (HRVLE) We have invited companies to identify an HR priority that will drive stakeholder results and to organize a team of high potential HR professionals to not only address that agenda, but access through a digital library the latest thinking on HR. Each HRVLE team is virtually coached by world class coaches (e.g., Dick Beatty, Norm Smallwood) to make progress on the HR agenda, and each team member access HR content modules relevant to their personal learning and team project. Each team member may also access personal coaching from Dave Ulrich. 5: HR Learning Partnership (HRLP) The RBL Capstone program (HRLP) has been offered for 30 years with over 1,500 participants. Participants attend as a team of high potential future HR leaders in an 8 day

consortium with 6 to 8 teams from other companies. Participants learn the playbook for HR value creation, work on a company project to apply the playbook, and receive personal coaching for professional and personal growth. Teams also share with each other and have an immersive learning experience that helps implement a company's HR agenda and inspires personal improvement. What do you think are the responsibilities of an entrepreneur? Our professional commitment is to create ideas with impact. We always start with client needs to identify how they can be more effective with their stakeholders. We focus on delighted customers regardless of what competitors are doing. We then offer them tailored solutions to reach their goals. As a firm, we have employees who have incredible competence in their ability to work with clients, to diagnose challenges, and to offer creative and tailored solutions. These RBL partners are among the best consultants, facilitators, and coaches in the human capability industry. Our clients repeatedly express incredible appreciation for their work. We are all motivated to deliver value to clients through innovative ideas that have lasting impact.

“As an HR professional with over 35 years in the field and across multiple businesses, I attribute much of my success leading HR teams to what I’ve learned from Dave Ulrich and the RBL team about how the practice of Human Resources can add value to organizations. If it is an HR, leadership development, or Organization Design challenge, RBL is the “go to” team.” — EILEEN K., CONSUMER PRODUCTS COMPANY
