uccessful entrepreneurship comes from within, is something that can now be easily discarded as a myth. It requires consistency, facing problems and finding solutions and leading a team to success. It is more about building a strong and trusted team rather than just going forward. Most successful business leaders are the ones who have started with nothing and have today built successful enterprises. With the right kind of perseverance and attitude towards life, anything is possible. The Enterprise World’s this issue of The Most Successful Business Leaders to Watch Out features the stories of such business leaders who with their wit and hard work have made success stories happen. For the cover story read aboutWinston Weber and Associates (WWA) was founded in 1985, with its base of operations in Tampa, Florida. The company was founded with a goal – “To have a global perspective and provide leadership thinking with practical, implementable solutions”. Winston Weber and Associates is known for providing more value and client return on investment than other large consulting firms that mostly house junior consultants with minimal business experience and those loose consortium consultancies, staffed by independent contractors, who typically experience inconsistent quality control. More value and client return on investment mean an uncompromising emphasis on quality and trust, a “say it as we see it” approach, and the ability to consistently exceed client expectations. These qualities and the team’s dedication to providing leading-edge thinking with implementable solutions have helped them to achieve their goal and amass an irrefutable reputation in the market! Garret Flower, CEO, and Founder of Wayleadr. Wayleadr as the name suggests is the pinnacle of technology that will change the way we look at the world, especially transportation. Wayleadr is pioneering solutions in last-mile automation that are combining emerging technologies, infrastructure, and people to bring about the next generation of mobility solutions reducing car dependency, reducing congestion, and carbon footprints for large or scaling companies. Founded in Dublin, Ireland in 2016, with a second office in Manhattan, New York, Wayleadr operates in 15 different countries across Europe, the USA, Oceania, and Asia, servicing some of the world’s leading brand names including L’Oreal, Indeed.com, Europcar and more. In conversation with Henrik Stamm Kristensen, Founder and Chief Moonshot Officer at Blendhub. Let’s get to know more about the company, its offerings, about Henrik’s professional journey! “Since the start of my first company, I have been exploring how science and technology can accelerate the transformation of the food industry sector which is completely broken and transit towards transparency in global supply chains. In 1996 I founded Premium Ingredients, which specialized in blending powder-based food recipes from traceable ingredients sources for the food industry. After initial success with B2B customers in Spain but lots of failures trying to sell our solutions in other countries, I realized we had to take a different approach to move forward. Garret Flower Travelling Redefined!
T
his time The Enterprise World went out in search of something out of the ordinary. We set out to find some compelling leaders and companies that are going to be the next big revolution. Our one condition: Find something that keeps our environment at the top priority, and also aligns with a mission of going towards a clean and green future.
To find the next big revolution, luckily, we didn't have to go too far. We met Garret Flower, CEO, and Founder of Wayleadr. Wayleadr as the name suggests is the pinnacle of technology that will change the way we look at the world, especially transportation. You ask, how? In a revolting conversation with Garret Flower, CEO, and Founder of Wayleadr. Let's get to know about the company, its services, and the man himself! About Wayleadr Wayleadr is pioneering solutions in last-mile automation that are combining emerging technologies, infrastructure, and people to bring about the next generation of mobility solutions reducing car dependency, reducing congestion, and carbon footprints for large or scaling companies.
Founded in Dublin, Ireland in 2016, with a second office in Manhattan, New York, Wayleadr operates in 15 different countries across Europe, the USA, Oceania, and Asia, servicing some of the world's leading brand names including L'Oreal, Indeed.com, Europcar and more. I lead the company, along with managing Last Mile solutions for more than 100,000 people worldwide. It is unique in its ability to connect the growing number of smart devices, cars, and infrastructure with its users to ensure companies can better manage commuting and transport capacity. To date, Wayleadr has raised a €4m seed round of funding and currently employs 15 full-time staff. For more information, please visit www.Wayleadr.io. Going the Last Mile “As the world grapples with how to move people about in smarter ways, last-mile automation is set to act as the bridge between smart cars and smart cities.” Road transportation is an integral part of life and many people believe owning a car is a necessity. However, the environmental impact is huge, in the context of hundreds of millions of cars on daily journeys. Those journeys may well be necessary, but I believe incremental reductions in distance and time are possible, through last-mile automation.

Simply put, last-mile automation is an approach that employers and landlords can use to make it easier to travel to and from their buildings. It's a new form of technology that makes buildings and vehicles smarter to ensure a frictionless end to every journey. In addition to this, it provides a lasting solution to avoiding traffic jams and is the key to sustainable urban transport management. Think less driving, less traffic, less congestion, less frustration, more transformation, more electrification, and more freedom. What is last Mile automation? Last-mile automation is the elimination of guesswork and human error from journey planning, ensuring an improved travel experience, lower car usage, reduced community congestion and emissions, and accurate infrastructure planning. Solving transportation problems Up to 30% of traffic in the locality of your office is caused by employees looking for somewhere to leave their car. Lack of clarity around space availability increases car usage and extends the average journey by around 800m. The advanced route optimization software is key to making it to the office through multi-use vehicles that saves time and costs. It's time to stop looking at car lots as a means to an end, and usher in a new era that places people, profit, and the planet at the heartbeat of every car lot. Reducing environmental impacts The carbon emissions generated from urban transportation are relatively high. 27% of greenhouse gas emissions come from workplace-related commuting in the U.S alone. Idling around office lots in search of spaces further increases the environmental burden of workplace commute. Last-mile automation reduces the number of single-use cars that travel to offices. If buses are provided to make urban trips to different destinations, there will be a tremendous reduction in vehicles that cause traffic on these roads. Carpooling and eliminating single-person journeys will also lead to a much healthier environment. Ultimately, last-mile automation will reduce the challenges associated with the final leg of every journey. The benefits of last-mile automation include:

eliminating congestion and carbon emissions reducing the cost of employee car lot facilities preparing companies for the future
As smart cities and smart vehicles continue to evolve alongside one another, last-mile automation will evolve with them. Its adoption on both sides of the fence will ultimately ensure a more sustainable and reliable future of transportation. Last-mile automation provides solutions to businesses worldwide. rt TV App nt Trends Out for in

BY THE ENTERPRISE WORLD
2. Predictive Analytics
Streaming movies and television shows on smart TVs have been on the rise, especially during the COVID-19 global pandemic. This presented a challenge for app developers to design apps that would keep viewers entertained and engaged. Many app developers don’t focus specifically on smart TV app development, as they launch apps for wellknown streaming devices/platforms and mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.
Predictive analytics helps to collect data and use it to identify trends and forecast future events. An example of this can be found in the specific movies or shows that smart TV apps may now suggest, based on your streaming history. This feature is found in smart TV apps like Netflix & Hulu. However, predictive analytics is expected to be implemented on a mainstream level in 2021 for most, if not all, smart TV app development.
However, viewers have been streaming more OTT content from smart TVs than other avenues in the post-COVID landscape. These OTT media services directly provide content to consumers, without the need for traditional broadcast, cable, or satellite television platforms. Many consumers are now slowly moving away from traditional pay-TV providers.
3. Customization
Most smart TVs with built-in OTT apps offer an allinclusive package. They claim to deliver crisp video features like 8K Ultra HD and advanced audio capabilities. The unified app-based platforms need to enable viewers to access various content from different OTT platforms easily with no more than a few clicks. Despite promising many positive benefits, most interfaces for smart TV apps leave a lot to be desired. OTT media services are starting to take advantage of the opportunity to shift to smart TV app development new trends. The following are some of the best trends for smart TV app development. 1. 5G Technology 5G is one of the major rollouts that will have a significant impact on TV apps development in 2021. The technology is assured to change how apps are created and used by resellers, developers, and creators. There will be approximately 3.5 times more 5G connections in 2021 compared to 2020. This will influence the speed and drastically improve it. It’s expected that 5G will provide a 10x times decrease in latency. It will also boost traffic capacity and network efficiency. 5G is expected to be 100 times faster than 4G, depending on the app developer. The functionality of smart TV app development will be boosted by the penetration of 5G. Performance won’t be affected when smart TV app development adds new features.

Customization is a popular feature in apps developed for smart TVs. While it is great to have an app with predictive abilities regarding shows or movies you may be interested in, it is even better to customize your viewing experience based specifically on what you desire. Many apps allow you to set up your own custom notifications when specific
movies you are looking for, are available on the app. You can also set notifications for when new episodes of your favorite TV shows are available for streaming. Many apps also allow individual profiles to be created for each viewer. This allows each individual within a household to have their own individualized viewing experience. 4. Competition is rising in the OTT Hosting Industry Authority in the OTT industry is typically held by a few large companies. However, a handful of small, yet growing OTT streaming services are beginning to make a name for themselves. All those platforms need support from online video platforms to operate at an optimal level. Currently, there are many viable OTT hosting solutions. People use them for content management, distribution, and support. They have several amazing features, including livestreaming capabilities.
5. Voice Control The days of typing out lengthy movie or show titles via remote control will soon come to an end. Voice control is a feature being incorporated into a growing number of smart TV app development. Voice control features will also allow you to start, stop, and pause a movie or TV show. You can also sort through viewing options with commands like “Show Horror Movies” or “Show New Releases.” As voice control technology becomes more integrated into homes, smart TVs will continue to provide even more options that can be controlled simply using your voice. Conclusion OTT & smart TV app development is constantly improving and getting better by the day. App developers who fail to evolve or maintain the use of the latest technological advances, will not be able to remain competitive in the current marketplace. However, those who do will gain an edge in the smart TV app development market. This is a benefit to consumers who can watch a wider variety of high-quality content for lower prices due to the steep competition. The continuously changing viewing habits of modern society will continue to create opportunities for businesses with the courage and foresight to lead the way into the future.

Blendhub Blending Perfection, Creating Innovation!
A
business and its journey stem from the core values, the spirit, and the vision of its founder. Every business goes through a constant series of challenges, testing the will and spirit of its team and its leadership. With this edition of The Enterprise World, “The Most Successful Business Leader to Watch Out”. We are here to bring you the next upcoming names in the world of business. Leaders that are going to lead us to the future and unlock the next big opportunities! Today, we are going to talk about an innovative company and an invigorating leader. You must be thinking what's so different, well wait till you hear how Blendhub is the next revolution in the Food industry!
its offerings, about Henrik's professional journey! Brief us about the company, what inspired you to start the company? I am originally from Denmark but have traveled and worked all over the world until I was stationed in Spain working for a global leader in the functional food ingredients space. In 1995 I decided to stay in Spain and start my first food technology company because I have been fascinated since childhood by how different food ingredients can create novel and completely unexpected recipes for both industry and final consumers.
Now without further wait, let's take this exciting interview ahead.
Since the start of my first company, I have been exploring how science and technology can accelerate the transformation of the food industry sector which is completely broken and transit towards transparency in global supply chains.
In conversation with Henrik Stamm Kristensen, Founder and Chief Moonshot Officer at Blendhub. Let's get to know more about the company,
In 1996 I founded Premium Ingredients, which specialized in blending powder-based food recipes from traceable ingredients sources for
the food industry. After initial success with B2B customers in Spain but lots of failures trying to sell our solutions in other countries, I realized we had to take a different approach to move forward. And the company started the evolution from being a local “blender” towards becoming a global network and collaborative community platform offering Food-as-a-Service, which is Blendhub today. After 36 months and 15 million Euros in building a state-of-the-art “static” blending, packaging, and quality control factory in 2004 in Spain, I challenged my engineers to develop a disruptive portable powder blending factory in a 40” container which we patented in 2010 and then deployed in a rented building prepared to highest food safety and security standards in India. Since then we have been developing a completely new business model around a global network of localized food production hubs, located closer to raw materials and closer to final consumers and intend to support anyone from idea, test, and validation to the launch

of healthy and sustainable food products anywhere or what we today call Food-as-a-Service. I also founded Chemometric Brain as a proprietary software of Blendhub to digitize food quality control and in January 2020 Chemometric Brain separated into a completely independent organization due to significant interest from many organizations to adopt the technology into their own companies. Chemometric Brain's mission is to democratize the implementation of NIR technology in food companies to digitize quality and expand this towards completely digitized supply chains to ensure increased food safety and avoid food fraud. Because consumers want to know what we eat. What are the products or services the company focuses on? How are your services different from those in the market? Blendhub's solution is the world's first Food-as-a-Service platform. Food as a Service (FaaS) aims at empowering especially SMEs to detect market opportunities and launch healthy, sustainable, and affordable food products anywhere, faster, safer, and cheaper than ever before. The access to first-hand multi-local market data provided both through our global network of hubs, our data mining team, as well as our value-aligned partners around the globe, is a main competitive advantage, we want to share with the food ecosystem. Food retail prices, nutritional standards, ingredients availability, local trends, a price that consumers are willing and capable of paying, etc. are key data to facilitate thousands of SMEs and startups to launch successful food products. We are today helping

food companies from ideas to launch new products and personalized nutrition anywhere in the world in less than 90 days! On the other hand, by localizing food production through a network of hubs, we decrease costs (by 30 to 50%) by increasing the efficiency of supply chains removing costs that are not adding any value to the food product itself. By decentralizing food production and stimulating local supply chains, we make food production and products cheaper and available to more people in more places; generate local employment, and decrease gas emissions among others. Replication is at the core of our business. We deploy identical production hubs featuring portable powder-blending units worldwide. One unit, all hardware, and software included, fits in a 40' container and can be deployed in less than six months anywhere. Blendhub has to this date deployed 7 hubs completely self-financed in Spain (2), India (2), Mexico, Colombia, and Thailand. Tell us about the team of Blendhub? Our mission is to change the rules of the game in the global food system, fostering localization of food production to make it more efficient and sustainable and ensure access to healthy and affordable food products to all people in all places, sustainably. And in the center of everything we do are people who share our purpose and core values; ambition, nonconformism, rigor, honesty, and conviction.
At Blendhub we are working on the implementation of a platform business model to share the real value created among all stakeholders who believe what we believe and share our vision. We have affiliate partnerships with food technologists, formulators, machinery specialists, and many others creating joint value anywhere in the world. Tell us about your professional experience? I started cooking at home when I was very young, was obsessed with learning why people were eating what they do, had working experiences during elementary school 12-14 years old cooking in a bakery, elderly home, an all-night restaurant, and started working as a trainee in Shell 2,5 years when I was 17 while studying at night, starting as purchase assistant in a multinational food ingredients company when I was 20 until I found my first of 5 food tech companies in 1996 being 32 and still here today trying to change the food industry for better. What are the key achievements of your business journey? It has been a tough journey because when you are a visionary person you often find no understanding around because any idea is crazy until the day it has been implemented. And when you work with many ideas creating an entirely new toolbox you need to work hard to convince everyone from the CEO to purchase, supply chain, R&D, quality, and others that localizing production makes sense; to adapt recipes to local needs and tastes; to formulate different recipes using different ingredients sources and ultimately to apply exponential technologies to food production; and, above all, to foster collaboration and
shared value creation at a local and global level with the ultimate purpose of making healthy and affordable food and nutrition available to all people in all places. Only in the last few years with broken global supply chains, we have started to see how some bigger food companies are joining the “localization movement” and accepting that global production models need to become local to be more efficient and sustainable. At the same time, Blendhub's platform business model is starting to grow exponentially with many more partners around the world resulting in many more decentralized and transparent platform collaborations between value-aligned stakeholders participating in local and global supply chains. And we are also beginning to be recognized for what we are trying to do. In 2020, Blendhub was recognized
as one of the world's most promising circular economy initiatives by WCEF, SITRA, and Deloitte. And in May 2022, during the last meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Blendhub was featured as a leading example of sustainable social impact. Any client experience you would like to highlight? A recent example of platform collaboration has been the valorization of Ragi (finger millet), a typical Indian cereal with high nutritional value but low economic value. In collaboration with an organization that supports farmers in India, local entrepreneurs, and an NGO that helps communities in need, we have created unique food recipes like shakes, beverages, and porridge adapted to local consumer taste, texture, and preferences, in general, making it possible to diversify its consumption and make it more accessible to more people.
At Blendhub we have created powderbased Ragi food supplements with micronutrients in a powder that are easy to store, transport, and consume. They mix with water or milk, dissolve instantly, and are ready to take. And we have reached consumers in underserved communities like the slums in Bangalore through novel models of entrepreneurship to provide basic nutrition to thousands of children in that area. The Ragi supply chain value creation project represents everything that Blendhub is all about: localization of production, local value creation, and collaboration between different partners to bring healthy and affordable food and nutrition to all people in all places, sustainably.

Considering Your Medical Career Options? The Aesthetics Industry Is Calling
W
hen you wish to hop on the medical industry, the good news is, there are so many career options from which you could choose. Careers aren’t only limited to the usual medical procedures in the hospital, if this isn’t what you’re after; there are other sectors within the medical field like in therapy, the academe, dentistry, and even the aesthetics industry. In America and in Canada in particular, the aesthetics industry is a booming one. So many more men and women across all ages and demographics are keen on having aesthetic procedures done. Some require surgery, while others are non-invasive. But even for the latter, medical expertise is still necessary to ensure top-notch results. If you’re still on the fence about it, this post should give you convincing reasons why you should consider entering the aesthetics industry. Read on! 1. High In Demand In Canada, cosmetic nurses are in high demand, much like in other places around the world. Technological advancements have also brought more treatment options across different budget ranges, which has made aesthetic treatments more accessible to many people. Aging is normal, but its effects can be slowed down through various procedures. This means men and women around the world are now more than willing to spend for aesthetic treatments, just to keep the largest organ in their bodies healthy. This demand presents a wide financial opportunity for clinics to open and medical aesthetics industry nurses and dermatologists to enter the aesthetics industry. As such, those willing to adapt to the current trend will have flourishing careers with competitive pay.

2. Have More Control Over Your Time
4. More Time To See More Patients In A Day
Unlike other medical professionals working in a hospital setting, working in medical aesthetics enables you to have more control over your time. Dermatology clinics usually follow regular business hours. However, if there are no patients or scheduled appointments for the day, they can opt to open later, if they have something else to do. This means it’d be easier for you to adjust your weekly or daily schedule according to your preferences and also your patient load.
Economically, you may also be able to see more patients in a day. Depending on the procedure your patients have, some may even be as quick as half an hour, such as for Botox treatments. For as long as you don’t skimp on the quality of service just to see more patients in a day, you could potentially earn more when you admit more patients.
Most importantly, unlike other medical professionals, you neither operate on an on-call demand nor would you have to do graveyard shifts. This is definitely a major plus, especially for those who have familial obligations.
Schedule-wise, this also means you don’t necessarily always have to go beyond your clinic hours just to fit all your patients within the same working day. More so, the bigger your clinic and the more staff you’ve hired, the higher the number of visitors that can be catered to simultaneously. Conclusion
3. Work In A Fulfilling Field When you’re working in a career where you have a sense of fulfillment, your working days are going to be filled with so much pride and joy. It’s a false notion to think that those who undergo medical aesthetic procedures are only in it for vanity. Some may be suffering seriously from a lack of confidence and self-esteem due to their physical imperfections. You can change their lives, even if it’s only through the job that you do. You can make your patients feel a lot better about themselves by giving them a newfound sense of confidence. Furthermore, you get to witness your patients’ transformation, and you may even leave an impact on their lives, emotionally and psychologically, by simply being with them every step of the way.
40
JULY 2022
As you can see, working in medical aesthetics is a very attractive work opportunity. This is a great sector for those who wish to work in healthcare but don’t necessarily like to be in the hospital. In Canada, the USA, and even in other parts of the world, there are so many training opportunities you can avail to receive the proper certifications necessary to be qualified in medical aesthetics. For as long as this is a field you’re excited and keen on entering, you’ll find your workdays to be exciting. It’s fulfilling work too when you get to change the lives of your patients by giving them newfound confidence to let their inner beauty shine.
