The Etsy Market is a series of virtual shopping events that pop up across different cities around the world. Some events are run by groups of Etsy sellers, directly sharing their creativity with their community. Others are run by us, with the goal of celebrating incredible makers. Either way, you’re sure to have an incredible, inspiring time!

Take a look at some of the items they will be bringing and get to know the person behind the products. Abby Sabel Bewdley, Worcestershire What will you be selling at the The Etsy Market event? I will be selling various country style home decor and gifts inspired by our beautiful countryside, nature and wildlife. From natural stone coasters and worktop savers to hand carved bamboo root ducks, there is something for all tastes. I also create hand cut paper art and use natural game bird feathers to fill in the silhouettes of our favourite countryside animals.
What is your favourite product that you are bringing to The Etsy Market?? My favourite product changes on a daily basis! I love creating the hand cut feather frames as I love seeing the stunning colours of each natural feather, but I also love a challenge so making the large rounded Kilner Jars are great for this. However, I do love the worktop savers too... I could just carry on like this so I will leave it there!
What are you most looking forward to this summer?

This summer I am most looking forward to getting back to (nearly) normal. I have some regular markets, some brilliant countryside shows and events in my local town of Bewdley. I love meeting my customers face to face, I love getting to know you all.

At the market I will be selling my hand drawn prints that depict Birmingham landmarks, I give these Brummie icons a botanical twist by surrounding them with houseplants. I also complete commissions of people's homes including drawings of their very own houseplants, these make the perfect gift for a plant lover! I have also recently launched my Brummie keyrings which include the designs from my prints to fancy up your keys! What is your favourite product that you are bringing to The Etsy Market? My favourite product and my most popular print is the Floozie in the Jacuzzi. She has become a signature of my brand and I'm currently loving the gold and copper Floozie prints.

Range from stationery, accessory, zero waste items and cushions. What is your favourite product that you are bringing to The Etsy Market? I'd say my current favourite is the notebook handcovered with Liberty fabric. What are you most looking forward to this summer? I really look forward to my new website, which i've been preparing for the last month, with new photographs and new products coming along.

What is your favourite product that you are bringing to The Etsy Market?? I've been drawing a lot of flowers over the past few months, so my favourite products feature my new range of flower illustrations that I've applied to prints, cards and badges.

My collection consists of colourful gemstone earrings and necklaces, wire-wrapped in sterling silver. What is your favourite product that you are bringing to The Etsy Market? It’s a hard one to choose a favourite but if I had to it would be the Carnelian earrings and necklace. I love the rich, deep orange/red tones of this gemstone. would have to say my dragons, they all have very individual characters, some happy, some angry, some just look puzzled, I don't aim for that, it’s just the nature of the hand drawn process. Joint favourite perhaps is my wistful bird linocut print, I haven't make anything that big in years and it’s only A4! What are you most looking forward to this summer? I am looking forward to finishing tidying up my garden, I've been at it for 2 years now and can almost see the end in sight. Then I can sit back and relax and have a bit more spare time for my creative work.

Dayz Birmingham What will you be selling at the The Etsy Market event? I will be selling prints of my digital illustrations. They range from digital prints, silk screen prints and a mix of linocut and digital. From these designs I have have hand printed gift wrap & greetings cards. I also sell some laser cut pins and pin badges.
What is your favourite product that you are bringing to The Etsy Market?? My favourites that I will be bringing are my linocut & digital mix handmade cards and prints. I created the original linocut designs during the 100 Day Project this year and then made cards and prints from them.
What are you most looking forward to this summer? I love the bright mornings, cooler afternoons and tasty summer food. I am hoping we can all meet up a bit more this summer as I do miss meeting up for tea and cake.

Samantha Birmingham (Originally from Sheffield) What will you be selling at the The Etsy Market event? My shop is a treasure trove of custom portraits, party-ware and gifts. I love creating products that are one of a kind and bespoke to the customer because I love working one on one with someone to create something special! Over the weekend I will be selling Hand Painted Pet Pawtraits, Digital Family/Friend Portraits, House Illustrations and Pet Party-ware! What is your favourite product that you are bringing to The Etsy Market? My favourite product would have to be my Hand Painted Pet Pawtraits! They really are a journey and the motto "trust the process" 100% applies when it comes to working on them! I love hearing stories from customers of how their loved ones adored their pawtrait and it really does make it worthwhile to know I have put a smile on someone’s face!

What are you most looking forward to this summer? Well we are probably looking at Covid Summer #2, but I have a lovely long weekend in The Lakes planned in August with a Hot Tub, so we can't go wrong there! But I am also looking forward to being able to spend more time with family and friends that we haven't been able to see as much over the last year.

I will be selling handmade character greeting cards created as an embroidered felt collage featuring goldfinches; robins; polar bears and foxes amongst other wildlife. I will also be selling a collection of embroidered coastal bird gifts with needle felted backgrounds including framed textile art works; paperweights and brooches. There will also be some embroidered floral art works; original pen drawings; prints and lino prints as well as a few other treasures. What is your favourite product that you are bringing to The Etsy Market? My Highland Coo card as it inspired me to start up my Etsy shop and it’s good at bringing smiles to people’s faces and for me that's what this journey is about.

What are you most looking forward to this summer? I'm looking forward to seeing family and friends many of whom I haven't seen for well over a year now. It'll be great to catch up.
