Our Story

Founded by Polly McMaster in 2012, The Fold is an award-winning British brand inspiring women to feel confident and put-together every day.

Disappointed with the lack of choice in women’s workwear, Polly decided to create a small yet considered collection of contemporary, stylish pieces that working women would love to wear and feel confident in. Over the past decade, she has built a global community of Fold Women and opened a flagship store in Chelsea, all while setting a new standard for a modern, professional wardrobe.

All of our collections are brought to life in our London atelier. From the cut to the colour, our designers refine every last detail to ensure that each piece is flattering and functional.

We are proud to manufacture the majority of our garments across Europe and the UK, using only the finest of fabrics and the most elevated of finishes. Modern, timeless and always versatile, we create classic yet contemporary styles that you’ll treasure in your wardrobe for years to come.

Highly skilled artisans hand-paint and weave the prints and patterns that adorn our clothes, while family-run Italian factories handcraft our premium leather accessories.
