An Art Exhibition for Foodies Epicurean Delights is where art meets food, with a little in between. This is a juried exhibition showcasing 80 food-inspired works of art by 32 Florida and a few out-of-state artists. Enjoy creations such as a blown glass orange, by Portland native Steve Hagan or a “Electric Tea Party Jacket” by Gulfport artist Elizabeth Neily. Florida CraftArt, 501 Central Ave. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Trash to Treasure: Earth Day Art Market Stroll the sidewalk and check out the nitty gritty art that was once landfill material. Instead, that trash hits the streets as your new favorite jewelry piece or rolled paper towel sculpture. Check out trash-to-treasure demos and a collection of outdoor art. Treasure Island: Yoga and Beach Cleanup Celebrate Mother Earth’s day with a beach cleanup, yoga and a swim in the sea. Yogi Mandhi will lead a community yoga class on the beach before the cleanup commences. The celebration will end with a shared vegan meal, naturally. Online Poetry Jam Eckerd College is the place to be during National Poetry Month, at least online on Thursday nights. Discover local and not-so-local writers and poets and get the breakdown on their musings. Wine and Dine in Downtown St. Pete If you’re going to experience the views and tastes of St. Petersburg’s waterfront Beach Drive, do it right. LGBTQ Book Reading Support local writers and discover one of the area’s bright new queer authors, LGBTQ Resource Center 2019 scholarship winner, Tyler Gillespie. Gillespie, who grew up gay in a Southern Baptist home, will discuss his quirky, Sunshine State-centered novel, “The Thing About Florida” in a Zoom chat.
