What is one book you think everyone should read?

Donna Dowden, St. Pete Beach: “Well I just love books so I read all kinds, but I just finished a Preston & Child book and it is wild. They have an imagination you wouldn’t believe.”

Betcinda Kettels, St. Petersburg: “I think my answer would be ‘To Kill a Mockingbird.’ It’s an American classic and it still has lessons for today’s environment as well.”

Ananda Bergeron, Tallahassee: “One of my favorites that has some national history as it also ties to Florida history is a book called ‘Devil in the Grove’ by Gilbert King and it kind of tells about a big chunk of Thurgood Marshall’s life and his effort before he got on the Supreme Court to fight for social justice and justice all around.”
