Jay McGee, Fort Worth, Texas: “Unfortunately, I think it may. My concern is us being Florida we have a lot of our economy based on travel, so people that get the Delta variant may be less willing to travel and other people who have been vaccinated may be afraid to travel because of that, so I’m hoping we can get through the Delta variant, and then get back to people traveling and helping our local economy.” Kevin Johnson, Tampa Heights: “I assume it’s gonna have an effect. A small, negative impact, hopefully. That’s what, I’m sure most people are hoping, and if it does have an effect, I’ll just roll with the punches.”

Jules Cozine, St. Petersburg: “I think it will affect it for sure, but I think it won’t be bad, bad. I think it’s just going to be a drop, maybe 10, 20 percent in people coming into stores and stuff. That’s what I’m hoping.”
