what’s new in 2018? Gamecock Club
Decade Dividends: A new loyalty program has been established to thank members for their longtime support. Gamecock Club members will now receive additional points based on their consecutive years of membership. For every decade a membership has been consecutively active, members will receive ten (10) priority points.
Football
Re-parking: In an effort to better accommodate those who have lost parking, and to ensure continued equity in our parking assignment process, the Gamecock Club is announcing a plan to re-park all Gamecock Club football reserved parking lots for the 2018 season. The Athletics Department anticipates another scheduled re-parking of Gamecock Club football reserved parking lots in 2023, and again in future years. Please see page 16 for more details.
Basketball
Renewal & Request Deadlines: This year, the season ticket and parking renewal and request deadlines for men’s and women’s basketball will occur on separate dates. Women’s Basketball: August 22, 2018; Men’s Basketball: September 12, 2018 Postseason Deadlines: 1st priority will be given to NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament ticket requests made by February 8, 2019. Seat Donations: A per seat donation structure has been established for men’s and women’s basketball season tickets. Please refer to the seat maps on page 19 for details. VIP Club: The VIP Club is a new premium suite-style area located on the concourse level of Colonial Life Arena. The club features a lounge area with inclusive snacks and refreshments and a cash bar. See page 12 for details.
Women’s Basketball
Online Seat Selection: Beginning the 2018-19 season, an online seat selection tool will be utilized for women’s basketball season ticket selection. This will allow season ticket holders to preview seat availability and make their selections online. All current and new season ticket holders will have the option to relocate their seats at an assigned selection time, based on availability. Current season ticket holders and members that submit season ticket requests by the deadline will receive their assigned selection time in August. Online season ticket selections will begin in September.
10-Month Auto-Renew Payment Plan
Gamecock Club members paid in full by the January 31 deadline may enroll in a 10-month payment plan for season tickets, parking and Gamecock Club membership. By enrolling in this plan, all payments for the upcoming year are established in a single transaction and only one handling charge will be incurred. Beginning this year, by opting into the Auto-Renew Payment Plan you will automatically be set up on a 10-month payment plan for future years. Please see page 10 for details.

ways to give Liquid Assets/Cash
A gift of cash is the most popular way of supporting Gamecock Athletics. Gifts of cash are ordinarily tax-deductible for up to 50% of your adjusted gross income in the year of the contribution (with a five-year carryover for the excess not utilized).
Securities/Stock Transfers
When you donate securities, you generally do not incur any capital gains tax. You also may be eligible to receive a federal income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of publicly traded securities if you have held them for at least a year and a day.
Bequests/Wills
Leaving money to the University through your will or trust is the most popular estate planning option. With a provision in your will, a donor can make a significant gift that may not have been possible during his or her lifetime. It also provides valued support after annual giving ends. An estate-tax charitable deduction for the entire amount of the gift is allowed.
Charitable Gift Annuity
When the gift annuity matures, the balance provides support to the University of South Carolina Educational Foundation. In exchange for a gift of property, marketable securities, or cash, the Foundation will contractually guarantee to pay you and/or another beneficiary guaranteed, fixed payments for life.
Retirement Plan Assets
One may avoid heavy taxation of retirement funds and support Gamecock Athletics by designating the University as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401K or other retirement vehicle. Since these funds have not been taxed, these assets may be the best resource to designate for charitable purposes. Lifetime transfers from IRAs or Roth IRAs are possible for donors who are 70 1/2 years or older.
Insurance Gift
A donor may name the University of South Carolina Educational Foundation or University of South Carolina as a primary beneficiary. This is another way to provide support after annual giving ends. Donating a paid-up policy during one’s lifetime also provides a charitable income tax deduction.
Charitable Remainder Trust
One may create a trust agreement in which you can transfer assets and retain income. When the payment period ends, the University of South Carolina Educational Foundation receives a gift. Funding the trust with long-term appreciated assets generates no capital gains tax liability on the transfer. This is not intended as legal or tax advice. Please consult with your professional advisor.

ticket office @GamecockTickets
Seat & Parking Assignment
Season ticket and parking assignments and locations may be evaluated and changed annually. Season tickets are assigned by Gamecock Club giving level and then by priority point total within each giving level. Donors must maintain or increase their giving level on an annual basis in order to retain their season ticket location. Away game & postseason tickets are assigned by priority point total. Season parking is assigned by priority point total. Donors must purchase season tickets in order to be eligible for season parking.
Seat & Parking Relocation
The South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office works to accommodate as many seating and parking requests as possible following the renewal deadline for each sport. Football, Men’s Basketball & Women’s Basketball: Donors wishing to request a change to their football seating and/or parking, men’s basketball seating or women’s basketball seating have the opportunity to select new locations online during the respective seat/parking selection process. Members who do not wish to make selections online may complete and return the appropriate request forms with payment by the renewal deadline and are agreeing to forgo their online selections by doing so. Baseball: Donors wishing to request a change in their baseball seating and/or parking should note their requests on the appropriate request form. Members are encouraged to submit requests in writing but may also call the ticket office to place requests. Requests to relocate existing seats or to purchase new season tickets are accommodated based on availability and assigned by priority.

payment plan options Deadline to Enroll: April 13 The Athletics Department offers several payment options to simplify the season ticket and Gamecock Club renewal process. Gamecock Club members will not receive separate mailings for each season ticket opportunity and may distribute payments over a period of ten months. Please note tickets must be paid in full in order to utilize online ticket management.
10-Month Auto-Renew Plan
Enroll online, call the South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office or return the payment plan application. Note, enrollees will automatically be set up on the 10-month payment plan for future years. Gamecock Club members paid in full by the January 31 deadline may enroll in a 10-month payment plan for season tickets, parking and Gamecock Club membership. By enrolling in this plan, all payments for the upcoming year are established in a single transaction and only one handling charge ($20 online, $25 mail/phone/in person) will be incurred. Please note payment plans may only be set up with a credit/debit card. Enrollees must provide a credit or debit card number no later than April 13, 2018. The billing address on the card must match the address listed on the member’s account. The card provided will automatically be charged on either the 15th of each month or the following business day. Should the total amount due change at any point, the new balance on the account will be prorated over the remaining months of the payment schedule. The Agreement between Customer and the University of South Carolina Athletics Department (“USC Athletics”) shall remain in effect until terminated, by either party for any reason, in such time as to afford USC Athletics to act on it. NOTICE OF TERMINATION MUST BE IN WRITING and mailed or delivered to USC Athletics Ticket Office. You acknowledge that by opting into the Auto-Renew Payment Plan, you will be subject to Gamecock Club membership and/or tickets and/or other event rate increases. Termination of the automated payment plan does not automatically terminate your Gamecock Club membership contract nor obligation for tickets and/or other events you have agreed to pay for, which stands independent of this agreement. Payment plan installments are subject to change upon customer-initiated add-ons and/or adjustments. The ticket office attempts to contact all members by phone that have payments declined. Accounts that become more than one (1) month delinquent due to a declined or expired credit card may be removed from the 10-Month Payment Plan at the discretion of the Athletics Department. The account holder will be notified in writing if this action is taken. If an account is removed from the 10-Month Payment Plan, all money paid will be applied to football items, followed by basketball and then baseball items. The member will not receive season tickets and parking unless they are paid in full by the traditional deadline for that sport. If a member is removed from the payment plan midseason, season tickets that have already been distributed may be voided until full payment is received.
3-Month Football Plan
Enroll online or call the South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office. The 3-month payment plan does not continue from year to year. Members must re-enroll annually.
10
This plan includes all football items on the member’s account. All members enrolling in this plan must provide a credit or debit card number no later than April 13, 2018. The card provided will automatically be charged on April 16, May 15, and June 15. After season tickets and parking are renewed, members will have the option to relocate during the online seat and parking selection processes or by submitting the appropriate request forms. Please note payment plans may only be set up with a credit/debit card.

GAMECOCK BASEBALL RENEWAL & REQUEST DEADLINE: DECEMBER 7 Season Tickets
Requests to relocate existing seats or to purchase new season tickets are accommodated based on availability and assigned by Gamecock Club priority. To request season tickets, visit GamecocksOnline. com/Tickets or call the South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office at 800.4SC.FANS (800.472.3267). Season ticket holders requesting changes should note specific requests on the appropriate request form, which must be submitted with payment to the ticket office by the announced deadline. Members are encouraged to submit requests in writing but may also call the ticket office to place requests.
South Carolina-Clemson Rivalry
The Gamecocks and the Clemson Tigers will play a neutral-site game during the 2019 season. Ticket information will be available online exclusively to season ticket holders in November 2018. If available, remaining tickets will go on sale to all other Gamecock Club members at a later date.
Postseason Tickets
Baseball postseason ticket information is posted online and distributed via email as Regional host sites are announced in May and as teams advance in the tournament. Current baseball season ticket holders will be invoiced online in April for their season seats for potential home postseason play. Payment is due in May.
Parking
South Carolina Athletics works closely with the businesses surrounding Founders Park to accommodate all fans with game day parking. A parking map is available for reference at GamecocksOnline.com/ Parking. Season ticket holders may select one (1) parking space per every four (4) season tickets purchased. Existing parking pass holders should request changes to their parking space location on the Baseball Parking Request Form.

frequenty asked questions Q: Is my donation to the Gamecock Club refundable? A. No. Donations received are used to provide scholarships for student-athletes. Q: May I pay for someone else’s membership? A. If you are establishing a membership as a gift, you may pay for it for one year only. Parents are allowed to pay for a child’s membership until the child reaches 22 years of age. Q: Will my tickets and/or parking be affected if I lower my giving level? A. Yes. Members choosing to contribute at a lower level may have their tickets reassigned. If the number of season tickets decreases, members must also adhere to parking pass limitations set (one pass per every four season tickets). Q: May I transfer my season tickets to another account? A: No. To ensure all tickets are fairly assigned based on Gamecock Club giving levels and points, tickets may not be transferred. If a member chooses not to renew season tickets, those tickets will be returned as available inventory and shown as open seats during the football or basketball seat selection process or during baseball assignments. Q: May I post my tickets for sale on Ticketmaster Exchange or forward my tickets to someone else if I am on a payment plan? A: No. Tickets must be paid in full in order to utilize online ticket management. Q. If I move my football season tickets from one premium seating section to another (ex. From Zone to 600 level) am I required to pay the $1,500 capital gift per seat? A. No. If you relocate your season tickets to a different premium seating area or within the same area you are not required to pay the $1,500 capital gift per seat. However, if you purchase additional seats in a different premium seating area or within the same area, you are required to pay the capital gift per each new seat.
