The General Standard

Our Mission is to create the most sustainable, equitable, and economical garments in the world. Our process starts with the seed. We use single source e3 cotton seeds. They require far less water, reduce CO2, are gentle for the soil, and support US farmers. We then convert the e3 cotton into our next generation Ring Optic yarn. Our Ring Optic yarn is then knit into high quality made in USA fabric. Finally all of our garments are sewn in our Los Angeles factory. From seed to farm to fabric to sew, General Standard has set a new standard for US-made, sustainable garments.
