Ad & Article Submission Deadline: All Ads and written articles must be submitted by the 10th of every month. Required file formats for Ad or article submission: JPEG, PDF, GIFF, PEG, TIFF, Microsoft word or Powerpoint, rich text format •
PDF generally eliminates many common font and imbedded graphics problems. It is the best way to ensure your document will print properly whether originating for Macintosh or Windows applications.
•
Many professional publishing programs have the ability to “Save As” or “Export” directly into PDF format. Exporting the document as an EPS or Postscript file and “distilling” it using Adobe Acrobat Distiller is the preferred method to create your PDF. However, Distiller is only available with full versions of Adobe Acrobat.
Above are the required file format for job submissions. All pages consistent size throughout Ad/article. Image Resolution: 300 dpi is the preferred resolution for images. 1200 dpi for line art images (bitmaps). •
Larger is not necessary and will not improve printing. From 150 dpi is acceptable but will not reproduce as much de-tail as 300 dpi, especially in larger images. Also, the greater the distortion from original size in the page layout, the less accurate the image will print. Raster images should be saved as JPEG, EPS or TIFF
