BEVERAGE CLUB COOL DOWN
SUMMER SHANDY PUNCH
INGREDIENTS 2 lemons, thinly sliced 2 limes, thinly sliced (save a few slices for garnish) 1 apple, sliced 1 c. blueberries 1 (12-oz.) can ginger beer 2 (12-oz.) bottles wheat beer 1 c. lemonade 1/2 c. seltzer DIRECTIONS 1. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher (or a large bowl) and stir. Chill for 2 hours, or until cold. 2. Serve with lime slices for garnish.
RUM RUNNER
INGREDIENTS 1 oz. dark rum 1 oz. light rum 1 oz. banana liqueur 1 oz. blackberry liqueur 1 1/2 oz. pineapple juice 1/2 oz. lime juice Splash of grenadine Pineapple wedge, for garnish Blackberries, for garnish DIRECTIONS 1. Add 4 to 5 cubes of ice to a shaker then pour in rums, liqueurs, pineapple juice, lime juice, and grenadine. 2. Shake until chilled through then strain into a glass filled with crushed ice.
Garnish with pineapple and blackberries and serve.
BEST-EVER MICHELADA
INGREDIENTS 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. chili powder Lime wedges 2 oz. fresh lime juice 2 tsp. hot sauce Dash of soy sauce Ice 12 oz. light Mexican beer, such as Modelo or Tecate DIRECTIONS 1. On a shallow plate, stir to combine salt and chili powder. Wet rim of large serving glass with lime wedge and dip into chili salt to coat rim. 2. Combine lime juice, hot sauce, and soy sauce at the bottom of glass and stir to combine. Fill glass with ice, then top with beer. Stir lightly, garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
