1 When you feel a surge of anger, pause for a moment and let the anger go away. Try to hold back your anger until you are calm and cool. Think about the consequences of your harsh words on your partner.
2 In order to avoid unwanted arguments with your spouse, get away for a while and let the situation cool down. Act with patience and maturity.
3 To make your partner feel comfortable while communicating with you, it is important that you listen to them. Hear out what they have to say about the situation, and then act accordingly, instead of impatiently making a decision.
4 Take some time alone. Let yourself and your partner have some quality time dedicated to yourselves, so both of your stress levels are reduced.
5 When there is a difficult situation at hand, work it out with calmness and tolerance towards the matter. This will produce an effective solution to the problem.
Studies show, people who are patient towards their married life tend to have better mental health as compared to those who act out in frustration.

HERE’S A TIP
Unmatched socks are handy-dandy cleaners and have so many uses. Keep one by the dryer to get all the lint off the trap. Shake it out or pop it into the wash when needed.
After you’ve cleaned out the gliders of your sliding-glass door, run over the parts with a little paraffin wax. It will protect the moving parts and quiet the door.
Store plastic wrap in the refrigerator, or even the freezer, to keep it from sticking to itself.
Do you have a screw loose ... in your eyeglasses? This is an easy fix. Paint the screw with a dab of clear nail polish and quickly re-screw. It works like glue. Dab the top of the screw for a little extra insurance.
Wrap the metal collar of your paintbrush with masking tape before painting. Then you can peel it off and there’s no stuck-on paint.
