Students select a programme of study at the end of the third year to be followed at the fourth and fifth year when they write their Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) examinations in order to be certified in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and/or Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) qualifications. The school is on track to be certified as a CVQ Centre, providing instruction in several CVQ disciplines.

In addition, students are required to follow the CCSLC (CXC) programme from the first year. They then write the exams at the end of the second year level.

A few students are given the opportunity to return to school after the 5th Year to upgrade their results. These students are given the opportunity to enroll in the “School to Work” Programme once we are permitted to restart. Students are selected for another year based on their performance on the regional CXC exams; their conduct, their overall attitude to work and study and their willingness to adjust to the rules and regulations of the school.
