elcome to the 2018 edition of The Grey Edit Holiday Gift Guide. I’m so glad you’ve decided to join me! For those who don’t know me, I’m Cortney Bigelow -- Creator and Editor of the Seattle-based style blog, The Grey Edit. I started this blog over two years ago as a creative outlet to showcase the evolution of my own personal style and the love for my surroundings - something that really came into being after moving from the midwest to the pacific northwest. Seeing beauty in overcast skies... finding comfort in wearing shades of black, grey and white... being a Seattlelite felt natural to who I was. It took years to find my personal style and after moving to this city, I realized I’d finally found my edit. So, I decided to build a brand that was a representation of this with a goal of inspiring
other style conscious women to find their own edit. My style can be described as classic but modern, simple with added edge. Often wearing monochromatic and neutral outfits, with just the right amount of subdued color. I’m all about investing in the classics, while keeping up with fun trends. I love to mix high and low price points and share wearable styles for the street. You’ll find me educating my audience about the importance of investing in their style. I try to encourage women to build a wardrobe of essential items and pulse in “elevated basics” that are an authentic complement to who they are and what they love. Making sure the material items and products they accumulate over time truly add value to their lives.
