Sinking concrete may be one of the most frustrating aspects of exterior maintenance a homeowner confronts and it could also harshly affect the improvement or enhancement of outdoor appeal for their property. Not only is it unattractive to look at over time, but it can be unsafe and pose a tripping hazard for others. What are your options? The innovative flatrocking process can typically be done in just one day. Instead of simply pouring more concrete on top of sunken concrete, flatrocking allows professionals to actually go inside and fix the problem from underneath. By drilling small holes in the concrete, a highly durable custom mix provides a new solid base for the concrete slab. This fills any voids and assists the concrete to rise back into place before the drilled holes are sealed with a customized mix. Once the flatrocking process is complete, there is little evidence of any repair. Flatrocking is good for all of Portland and the surrounding area. Upgrading concrete and curb appeal one property at a time not only keeps safety a top priority, but it’s also an environmentallyfriendly process (with use of organic minerals instead of chemical bonding agents). Just because something appears old and rundown doesn’t mean it can’t be rejuvenated. Along with flatrocking for concrete slabs, professionals can also replace the rotten or missing wooden expansion joints in driveways, sidewalks, patios, or pool decks. An immediately effective process with rapid installation, wooden expansion joint replacement eliminates trip hazards associated with empty joints, deters weed growth between slabs, and also blends beautifully with the surrounding colors and concrete. Flat-rocking is an ideal option that will restore beauty and safety into your concrete.
