Another year is over and a new one begins. This is the time of year that I like to find a quiet spot, and take stock of the highlights of 2016. What did I achieve? How many of my goals did I accomplish? Some new goals seemed so important at the beginning of the year, but as the months unfolded, priorities changed. Suddenly, buying that new car seemed less important than being debt free. “Nothing tastes as sweet as Victory feels.” I sure do love that feeling of winning when you really must put everything on the line to reach for your dreams. Many of goals focused on my health, my business, and my family. It’s what pushes me to get up every day at 5:30am to meet my trainer at the gym. It’s what allows me to be lucky enough to travel and see the world with my family. It’s what gives me the time to invest in training my team and see them all grow and prosper. I see everything I have achieved as a gift and believe I am blessed. I have learned to appreciate every moment of every experience! My wish for all of you, is that 2017 is magnificently beautiful, and that you achieve everything you set your mind to this year! If you happen to be one of those people whom battles

to stick to goals and New Year resolutions, why not try making a single stand, and take on your biggest challenge. Stop running from your fears, as it will only make you unhappy and stop you from achieving your true potential. Nelson Mandela stated, “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” We all have reasons or excuses as to why our lives are not where we would like them to be. But until we take 100% responsibility for our successes and failures we will never be content. We cannot always control our lives, but we can control our experience of life, and how we think, feel, and act. Bad stuff happens to all of us. It’s part of life. Recognize it, accept it, let go of fear, step out and make a change. Accept that every situation and its outcome, depends on how you handle it. The road you travel is your choice and it’s your doing. We have all experienced hardships in life and survived to tell the tales. But if we had to do it all over again, wouldn’t we find a way not to stress so much, or worry less, not to lose our cool; to let go of negative thoughts; and to be more relaxed?
