Senior Director for Office of Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at UC Davis Health Hello! I am Ceasor Dennis and I joined the Office for Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in March as the new Senior Director. I would like to welcome you to the 10th Annual Black Physicians Forum. I am excited to be part of an office that supports such important experiences for the African American community.

My approach to DEI work is grounded in dismantling systems of discrimination to create equitable communities, particularly for historically marginalized communities. The organizers of the Black Physicians Forum recognize this work as vital to our community, which is why we continue to partner with them to bring this event to you annually.

This year, we all in one way or another have been touched by and/or experienced not only the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on our lives, but also the continued resilience of our community which highlights why this event is important for all of us.
