This print book contains prints created for the S/S 2019 collection. The prints are created from four trends, which aim to suit everyone. Hypnotropical - Hypnotropical is a trend is inspired by hypnotic and psychedelic colouring of bright pastels, deep sea blues and purples mixed with tropical floral vibes. The trend contains tropical fruits, oversized palms, tropical leaves, florals and some prints play upon visuals. This trend is aimed at the 20-23 age market, and the prints are for underwear sets. Playful Imperfect - Playful Imperfect is inspired by abstract movement including shapes, marks and strokes. The trend is free flowing and contains various elements which create a visually appealing print with no direction. The free flow is important for this trend as it’s colour pallet is bright and colourful and suited for the 16-19 market. This print would be used for pockets on jogging bottoms and underwear sets for the younger market. Viva Las Retro - Viva Las Retro brings together the 1950’s and American Diner vibes in one trend. The trend is aimed at the older 20-23 market and includes visuals you would see at a diner or associate with the 1950’s. The majority of the prints are larger placement prints for jumpers and t-shirts rather than small breast placements. Pink Milk - Pink Milk is trend is a sweet and sickly trend with over-powering pink visuals. The trend is for the sassy, individual market that like a feminine touch on jersey wear. The trend has a young Tumblr vibe, with a hint of old school 90’s, which is suitable for the 16-19 age market. The illustrations reflect those doodles you may find in a young adult diary. The prints emerging from this trend are mainly placement pin badge style prints.
